The work involved developing a logo detection system for video to provide
real-time insight into when & where specific brand was photographed across
social media and provides related analytics. For example - duration a logo
appear in the video, average area the logo covers in the frames it appears, etc.
This algorithm was then used on football world cup 2014 videos and related
analytics were generated so that the advertisers and brands could effectively
evaluate the return on their investments. The project was done using OpenCV
in python. Further improvements were done to detect logos more accurately
using OpenCV in C++.
