 Script

BLAKE is in the hallway putting shoes on, hopping on one foot as he

struggles to put them on. BLAKE calls out for SAM. SAM then suddenly
appears close to BLAKE’s face holding his coat. BLAKE puts on his
coat and then pulls on his collar. BLAKE then opens the door with
his right hand and steps outside.
Blake:
Sam... Can you grab my coat? I’m going to be late… Sam!?

Sam:
Here!

Blake:
Jesus. Thanks
Err. Anyway, I won’t be out for long. Probably be a few hours.

Sam:
Don’t worry. I’ll be fine. I’ll just stand here… Waiting.

Blake:
Ok... See you in a bit [confused, weirded out]

BLAKE walks out of the doorway and down the drive. JACK materialises
in front of him, looking angry as he briskly comes towards BLAKE.
They have an altercation as they are very close to each other’s
face. During altercation SAM comes out and disrupts tension by
asking questions, when doing so BLAKE and JACK look across to him in
sync.

Blake:
Jack [Stunned]

 Jack:
Did you really think you could hide from me?

Sam:
Err. Cup of tea?

Jack
Ye, whatever.
Blake:
Well, I’m not exactly hiding

Jack:
WHERE IS IT?

SAM:
Sugar?

JACK:
I don’t care. Just go away

Blake:
Where’s what?

Jack:
Well, If you don’t have the SPORK for me by noon.. I will find you..
and I will kill you…

JACK walks backwards away from BLAKE and then apparates away. SAM then
walk out with cups of tea and sighs in disappointment. He then talks
with BLAKE with BLAKE facing away looking from him. BLAKE then suddenly
flies off leaving SAM all alone.

 Sam:
"oh.. He’s gone".. "err... who was that exactly?"

Blake:
"That…. That was my brother"

Sam:
"He wasn't that nice"

Blake:
well... Half-brother technically".

Blake:
right... I need to assemble a team

Sam:
Ok… I’ll stay here then..

BLAKE starts walking down line of people with clipboard. Stops at

each person asking them about themselves writing down their
information.

Blake:
So, who do we have here?

Alex:
Alex. Alex Kent. I’m 18. A college student and I can sort of jump
through objects.

Blake:
So you are saying you can teleport?

 Alex:
Ye...

Blake:
Through any object?

Alex:
Well, kind of. I can’t really control it right now, but… it happens.
Occasionally.

Blake:
Anyway… Moving on

BLAKE looks at THEO seeing him in a spider man costume assuming that
he can shoot webs from his arm. Then when THEO asks suggests that
there is nothing to suggest that, he confusingly dismiss it looking
at him up and down to suggest it is obvious.

Theo:
Theo. Theo Parker

Blake:
And I assume you can shoot webs from your arms.

Theo:
No. Why would you think that?

Blake:
No reason. No reason at __ all. [Looking him up and down]

Theo:
So I have super strength, but I can no longer work out how to use
it. I just can’t trigger it anymore.

 Blake:
Oh. U too.

Theo:
What?

Blake:
Oh, nothing.

As BLAKE goes through the line the last person in line is SAM. He
dismisses him and believes that he is doesn’t have any abilities and
he thinks he is wasting his time.

Blake:
And finally… Sam... Why are you here?

Sam:
I have powers

Blake:
Very funny

Sam:
But I...

Blake:
Right, we can work with this. First of all. You’ve got to train.

[Batman transition music]

BLAKE then stands in front of THEO and ALEX and gets them to start
training. He gets ALEX to do sit-ups and push-ups. Demanding him to
carry on, ignoring his requests to stop, and pushing him to his
limits.

Blake:
You are all weak and are unable to control your abilities. They are
gifts to you. Master them.

Blake:
You’ve got to push yourself to your limit.

Alex:
I… I... I can’t. I’m done.

Blake:
NO YOU’RE NOT. I WILL TELL YOU WHEN YOU’RE DONE! KEEP GOING!

Blake:
FASTER!

Blake:
KNEES UP!

SAM appears and has just used his ability of super-speed, surprising
BLAKE as he shows him that he does have powers. This the causes him
to want to see if any of the others can use their powers. First he
stands still asking THEO to hit SAM to see if he has super strength.
THEO believes he is joking but when he looks back and BLAKE and
BLAKE tells him again we can see that he is dead serious.

Blake:
Whoa. Sam?

 Sam:
Told you

Blake:
Ok… Anyway. Right, let’s see if any of you can trigger your
abilities. Theo.

Theo:
Ye

Blake:
Hit Sam.

Theo:
What? No. I Can’t

Blake:
Hit. Sam.

Sam:
Don’t worry. I don’t feel anything.

THEO hits SAM in the chest sending him flying backwards into the
wall. SAM gets up slowly. He has pain in his chest and holds onto
the wall as he gets up. THEO looks at his hand holding it up in
front of him surprised at what just happened. BLAKE then asks ALEX
to try out his ability. ALEX then runs and jumps through fence then
stands still, looks down at his body with his arms in front of him
amazed at what he just did. ALEX then jumps back through the fence.

Blake:
Jeez

 Theo:
Whoa. What in the name.

Blake:
Alex. What’d you say your power was again?

Alex:
Well, I can sometimes jump through objects

Blake:
Well. Give it a try.

ALEX:
Whoa

JACK then apparates in front of BLAKE. SAM, ALEX and THEO are spread
out behind BLAKE. THEO looks at watch and corrects JACK. When JACK
suggests that BLAKE is alone SAM, ALEX and THEO step forward into a
crescent shape in line with BLAKE staring down JACK. As we hear the
music coming from inside the scene everyone looks down at SAM who is
holding his phone. SAM then puts his phone away as he looks down to
floor.

Jack:
Times up… It’s noon. Where is the Spork?

Theo:
Actually, you’re late. It’s ten to one.

Jack:
Well, we all have things to do. I have a life.

 Everyone else:
eh, hehe

Jack:
Anyway, it doesn’t matter. I’m here now. NOW GIVE ME THE SPORK!

Alex:
What, like a spoon and a fork?

Jack:
It is more powerful than you think. Whatever. Now give it to me.

Blake:
No. You will have to go through me first.

Jack:
Good luck. You’re too weak to take on me alone

Blake:
I’m not alone.

Sam:
Sorry

JACK then looks at BLAKE and lunges forward off shot. BLAKE then
looks slightly upwards as his eyes change.

Backup Actors:

Location
My main location is at my own house, so it will always be available to film. For the outside
scenes they are outside my house and on a public field which will always be accessible. If I
do encounter problem for filming on the set out date, then I will film instead on Monday 6 th
with backup actors.

Equipment:
- I have a backup DSLR camera if my main one breaks. The backup camera has the
same recording quality and a very similar sensor so will produce very similar footage.

- If my battery on my camera runs out I have the backup DSLR to be able to use, and
while I am using the backup camera I can charge my primary camera’s battery.

- If any of the cables break or get damaged during production I have a backup of each
cable that can be used.

- If there is a problem with the audio during production I don’t have a backup mic, so I
will have to resort to using my backup location and actors to make sure that I can get
another mic that will give me good audio quality because on-board audio on my
DSLR is not good enough. (Before the filming day I will test the microphone that I will
use to make sure that it is in full working condition).
