Name of Activity: Painting seashells

The learner will:

Use a variety of materials. (e.g., chalk, paint, crayons, pencils, markers, construction
paper)
Draw to explore and extend themes in the classroom.

The little jags will be able to hold and manipulate paint brushes to paint the seashells to
the best of their ability
Materials Needed to Complete This Activity

Available: paint brushes, paint

Teacher Will Supply: seashells

Set out paint brushes, markers and paint. Set one seashell at each seat

Procedures: ​(In great detail, explain how to complete the activity. Your instructions should be good enough for someone else to teach the activity if

Have children paint their own seashell in a special creative way!

After children have finished their seashells they can put them on the drying rack and wash their
hands

opportunity to talk about the beach and favorite memories.
