GPO: Take Action

Fourteen Points of Angel

These points’ purpose is to create peace at school by strengthening

teacher-student relations. Peace is important in our lives to have true happiness. There are many

ways to achieve peace but it started in oneself and that is by being true to yourself. To create

pace students and teachers have to think first of what makes them happy. The way we feel and

think of yourself is important. People need to be happy to create a peaceful environment in the

world. Therefore I make this fourteen points to create good relationships between staff and

students at ASGL.

1. People at ASGL should seek positive solutions to solve our problems.

2. Students’ opinions should be taken into consideration while making

decisions/changes that may affect them.

3. Students at ASGL should be honest with themselves and others.

4. Encourage students at ASGL to stand up against violence, bullying, and

aggression.

5. Students at ASGL should respect and evaluate different points of view.

6. Involve students points of view when establishing new school rules.

7. By taking action ASGL students can create more opportunities to improve the

academic level of their classmates.

8. By listening from the hart teachers at ASGL should recognize the different

feelings of the students and be able to aid them if needed.

9. Students at ASGL should be given the freedom to go to the restroom without

being told that there would be consequences.

10. By investigating the world students should learn from different cultures to be able

to understand the different points of view that there is in the world.

11. At ASGL students and staff should spread awareness of the uses of drugs at an

early age.

12. ASGL administrative should impose more discipline in order to maintain the

order.

13. ASGL administrative should consider the opinion of students when deciding

extracurricular activities.

14. Students should have longer breaks between periods so they have the time to

arrive to class on time.

Peace is a state where people don’t suffer. Without peace, there is a high probability that

the relations between everyone would develop conflicts inside the school. For example, if there a

conflict between siblings at home if not checked. The conflict would escalate and might end up

with someone of them getting hurt. For this reason, these fourteen points are essential to the

ASGL campus. I hope to make a great change in ASGL in order to create a more peaceful

environment.
