SUBJECT : Request for the use of the Operation Center Training Room of the
National Housing Authority (NHA) for the conduct of Focus Group
Discussion (FGD) on the proposed Government Accounting Manual
(GAM) for Government Corporations (GCs) classified as Non-
Government Business Enterprises (Non-GBEs)/Non-Commercial
Public Sector Entities (Non-CPSEs) on July 24-26, 2019

Dear Mr. Escalada, Jr:

In line with the Commission on Audit’s Revised Strategic Plan for 2016-2022,
particularly Goal C-Improve Government Accountancy Services, Objective/Initiative c.1-
Update/Promulgate accounting rules, regulations and standards consistent with international
accounting and financial reporting standards, we shall be conducting series of FGDs on the
proposed GAM for GCs classified as Non-GBEs/Non-CPSEs.

We would like to request permission to use the NHA’s Operation Center Training
Room on July 24-26, 2019, as venue for the last batch of the FGD to be attended by the auditors
assigned to the 39 identified GCs classified as Non-GBEs/Non-CPSEs. May we also request
the use of equipment like sound system, microphones, tables and chairs, if available, and the
computation of estimated expenses that may be incurred on the use of training facility and
equipment.
