Pitbulls deserve a second chance

People in the united states are divided on their beliefs regarding pitbulls. Pitbulls are
good dogs and should not be banned. Also, the US. Media has often shown mean pictures and
videos of the dogs, instead of good ones. This has a great impact on the pit bulls image and
people views. The best way to help pitbulls is to educate society how properly raise pitbulls, and
be given a positive image. A misconception regarding the pitbull breed has lead to false
accusations. Pitbulls are great pets and with love, like any dog, they will behave.

Pitbulls deserve a positive image and this is being worked on. Love -A- bull, an

advocacy …. A positive image of the dogs has been shown.” Pitbulls are often shown as angry
and mean and this is unfair. Secondly Stacey Coleman the director of the animal farm
foundation says that “policies that make it impossible for pitbulls to find loving homes are based
on fear not facts”(237). Coleman says that because people are afraid of the dogs, they refuse to
learn about them and many go into abusive homes.

Pitbulls are often not bread to kill and are labeled wrongly for most death caused by dogs.
Jeffrey Sacks, who studies stats at the cdc says ,“When it comes to fatalities caused by pitbulls,
