II. LEARNING OUTCOME

The first lesson that our supervisor/principal architect gave

to us is how to deal with different kinds of people (i.e. clients,
staff, laborers, etc.) Every trainee in the office had the
opportunity to experience client meetings and material
selection.
The design team, us, always had a scheduled and regular
site visit. Two random trainee are scheduled every day on
weekdays and on Saturdays, all of the trainees are assigned
on their designated sites.
We had learn different things related to architecture and
other things such as project management. We experienced to
make a 2D plan, 3D model (Interior and Exterior), Structural
Layout, Electrical Layout, Plumbing Layout, Cabinet Detailing
of Residential Projects.
After office hours, we always had our short lectures on
different topics that our related to architecture such as the steps
in painting interior walls, basics on planning, history of
architecture, etc. As a traineed I am glad that I became a part
of RAPG + ARCHITECT office. Our principal architect, Arch.
Ronald Allan P. Gunda, gave us an chance if we want to go
back for apprenticeship and I am looking forward to be a part
of his team someday.

III. APPLICATION
The best learning that I could apply in life is on how to deal
with different kinds of people with different kinds of attitude.
We had our brief conversation with our architect about that.
He always gave us advise that we could use in the future. And
one lesson that I will always carry is “It is not always about the
money”
