Project Title Short Film.

Section 1: Review (Approx 100 words)

I have acquired many skills to take on board with me throughout my final major
project. I have developed my skills in editing software and I’m more confident with
using it now, gaining the ability to add special effects and filters, especially during
the music video unit.

I have learned the basics of how to use ‘Adobe Audition’, and I’m confident with
adjusting and editing audio more professionally than I did at the beginning of
September.

Aside from all of this, I have learned how to properly complete a unit in an organised
way, and I am much more confident in my time management skills, which is the most
useful aspect that I will take on board in my final major project.

Section 2: Project Concept (approx 200 words)

My aim for this project is to complete a short film based on the life of models outside
of the public eye in regards to mental health issues and addictions. I would like to
explore topics that people avoid talking about, for example, suicide, depression and
how dark social media can be.

I want to gain as much knowledge as possible of the subject for my short film to
make it as realistic as I can. Part of my plan to do this is by contacting people who
are open about their mental health issues and addictions and interviewing them with
relevant questions.

The amount of locations I will use and information from mental health survivors is
probably the main resources I will need throughout, as without these I cannot
present the short film as close to my creative vision as I can.

Section 3: Evaluation (approx 50 words)

To evaluate, I will be taking the time to conclude what I have been doing weekly over the
course of the whole unit and completing a full written evaluation towards the end of the
project.

For filming, I will be gaining photographs on set in order to capture every problem and
development of the filming process clearly.
I will be screenshotting the full editing stage to show the development of editing and how I
chose to modify my footage.
