TECHNICAL REPORT:

Providing Safe & Potable Drinking Water to the General Public

is the Life Line Activity of the Government. Public Health
Engineering Department is entrusted with the job of
materializing the objective of the Government on ground. There
is special focus on providing drinking water facility to each and
every school right from primary upto secondary level schools in
the District. In this regard 53 No Schools have been identified in
consultation with the office of Chief Education Officer for
providing drinking water facility which are yet to be covered
under this ambit.

Proposals:
It is proposed to lay 25mm / 20mm dia G.I. pipe line and connect
it with PVC tank fixed on iron stand for facilitating water
supply to the respective schools.

Cost:
The total financial implication for providing the water supply to
the uncovered schools including pipe material cost is
`33.28 lacs.
