Part II
NARRATIVE

I reported at Taltal National High School on July 02, 2018. I was assigned to
distribute the school supplies (notebook, ballpen, pencil, pad paper) and school
uniform to the students from Local School Board. Meeting with the Araling
Panlipunan and ESP department was also conducted in line with the development
plan headed by the School Principal, Madam Lenie N. Elamparo, Ed.D. The meeting’s
agenda was about the development and preparation of department. It also tackled
the different activities planned by the teachers.

LAC session was held on July 21, 2018 at Taltal National High School
computer laboratory. The session was about the construction of the new format of
test questions for the periodical examinations. Sir Daniel Eclevia, a senior high
school teacher discussed the school portal. Every teacher is required to sign in the
said portal and can upload learning resources that can also be downloaded for
references.

In line with the celebration of the National Career Guidance Week, students
are demanded to wear attire that corresponds to their target course in the near
future. Each student show their dream course in the class and introduce there
selves. A job interview was also conducted to show the proper gestures and answer
in doing an interview.

The TLE Department conducted a cooking contest among the students


as a part of the celebration of Nutrition Month. Yours truly was designated as a
judge in the said cooking contest. On the first day of competition, chicken dishes
were served. The following day, Grade 9 students cooked bangus dishes. The event
was successful.

In preparation for the 1st Periodical Examination, test questions were


constructed with Table of Specification. Activities and accomplishments for the
month of July include monitoring of attendance, construction of Daily Lesson Log,
making slideshows in preparation for the lesson.

Part II
NARRATIVE

The month of August was full of activities even though there were class
suspensions. The highlight of this month was the administration of First Periodical
Examination(August 10-13, 2018). Review time was given to the students to recall
the lessons and competencies for the exam. It is also the time for the completion of
outputs and projects for the learners.

Learners who need remediation were visited by the class advisers to make sure
that they will come to school to take exam and to comply the needed outputs to
pass the specific subject. Since yours truly has no advisory class, I volunteered
myself to accompany some class advisers to visit the students and call the attention
of their guardians.

Test papers were constructed, table of specifications were analysed and these
are the requirements needed to submit before the administration of the
examination. Of course, after the examination, grading sheets should prepare by the
subject teachers as a result of the overall performance of the learners in 1ST quarter.

In line with the project of Department of Health, Kontra Bulate Program was
introduced to the learners. I assisted the adviser to give the Kontra Bulate Tablet on
the day of the administration.
Another program of the Department of Social Work and Development that is
linked to DepEd is the 4Ps for the students and families. I am one of the facilitators
of the YDS among the recipients of 4Ps at TNHS on August 30, 2018.

Part II
NARRATIVE

The month of September was full of activities for the students that developed
their skills in academic and sports. As part of teaching-learning process, preparation
and submission of daily lesson log is a must. The teacher also employed different
strategies and teaching aid to increase the interest of the students in a certain
learning competency. Used of ICT is also a must. Monitoring the absenteeism of the
learners is a necessity in the part of the teachers.

September 8-10 is the Sports Fest of the school. This highlight event of the
month is a way to develop the learner’s camaraderie, sportsmanship and skills in
different sports event. The event includes different sport events like basketball,
volleyball, badminton, table tennis, sepak takraw, chess and zumba dance contest.

A meeting was conducted on September 18, 2018 at Grade 10 Aristotle


classroom. The agenda of the meeting were about the student’s progress, teachers’
performance and concern and the incoming District meet. Overall, there is a
consensus in the said meeting.

District meet is also one of the highlight program in the Municipality of


Masinloc were all Secondary Schools participated and compete for gold medals.
Athletes from Taltal National High School compete on the said event and did their
best to brag a medal. Every athlete enjoyed and learned from the event. Yours truly
was the assistant coach with Mam Ann Marie Joy Baustista as the Coach in Athletics
Event including 200m dash, 400m, 800m, 1500m, shot put, discus throw and javelin
throw.

The DepEd also conducted National Achievement Test. Yours truly was one of
the Room Examiner for Grade 11 students of Northern Zambales College, Inc, a
private school in Masinloc. The exam went well.

NARRATIVE

First semester almost ended. The month of October was full of activities
and busy schedules for the learners and teachers. Compliance of requirements,
taking exams and computation of grades are the list on the schedule for this month.

A LAC Session was held about the construction of IPCF form headed by
the School Principal, Lenie N. Elamparo, Ed., D.

October 19-21 is the schedule of administration of 2nd Periodical


examination. Learners should complete all the requirements for every subject.
Submission of MPS, most and least learned, final grades are subsequent after the
examination. Meanwhile the semestral break of the students was on October 22-23,
2018. This is a one week vacation before entering the 3rd quarter for this school
year. The teachers will continue to render service in this week (MPRE-Mid-year
Performance Review and Evaluation) by means of accomplishing different forms and
pre-evaluation of IPCRF. During the MPRE, seminar on ICT, Health, Hygiene and
Sanitation and about instructional materials was conducted.

NARRATIVE

It is now the start of the 2nd half of the S.Y. 2018-2019. Lessons were
integrated with different subjects and in preparation for the upcoming examination,
lessons were prepared and printed hand-outs were produced. Different seminars
were attended like The school also engaged in the celebration of Religious Fiesta of
the San Andres Parish Church. In relation to this, students are actively engage in
different programs as part of the celebration of the Fiesta. Teachers were also active
in participated in High School Night.

This month feels the vacation but before the year ends, learners must comply with

this month is the GAD Seminar held at Iba, Zambales. The sais seminar is about the
awareness of everyone about gender issues.

NARRATIVE

Time flies so fast, we are in the second to the last month of school year. I was
assigned as one of the teachers who have been a proctor in Basic Education Exit
Assessment (BEEA) for Grade 12 Senior High School at Northern Zambales College,
Inc. last February 13 to 14. As a coordinator of SDRRM, I organized the earthquake
drill at school on February 21, 2019. I also measured the weight and height of my
advisory class as their MAPEH teacher.

We haven’t much activities for this month. But meeting is imperishable, we


have our emergency meeting due to the papers that we need to submit and some
activities that we need to address it held last February 11. We also have a meeting
last February 15 for the validation of School-Based Management lead by our school
head Dr. Lenie N. Elamparo. More fruitful meetings to come!

NARRATIVE

On March 1 is one of the highlight activity as SDRRM Coordinator. It is the


conduct of actual earthquake drill with the help of MDRRMO, PNP-Masinloc and BFP-
Masinloc.

We are down to the exciting part of the school year. Last March 11, we have
a meeting lead by our school head Dr. Lenie N. Elamparo to discuss some important
matters regarding the school forms, upcoming events, etc. And on the 27th day of
March, we participated in the Learning Action Cell (LAC), our speakers were Dr.
Lenie N. Elamparo and Mr. Benjamin Paner. For community involvement, the DEPED
Family participated in Masinloc Town Fiesta. The LAC session was all about the
RPMS or Philippine Professional Standard for Teachers (PPST), for us to be aware on
the means of verifications (MOVs) that we can use in the said PPST.Lastly, Mam Lea
and I were assigned to make certificates for the upcoming recognition that will be
held on April 3, 2019.

NARRATIVE

In accordance to DepEd Order No. 1 s. 2015, a child mapping was conducted. This is
to gather information on the educational status of 12 – 18 year old children in the
community which can be used in school planning.
As a part of creating the School Improvement Plan, teachers have the task of
mapping out the out of school youth of different barangays of Masinloc. Mam
Jonalyn Atrero, Amy Nacin, Mam Sali Denito and Mam Sandra Elad were assigned to
map at Barangay South Poblacion on April 11, 2019. With the aid of the Barangay
Health Worker, we have a raw data of the youth and interviewed them with the
needed data. The said gathered data will be used to create and implement the SIP
for the S.Y. 2019-2022.
