Steroids are a type of drug that people use to be stronger for their body’s and to win more in

sports people should not use steroids because its an unfair advantage to the team thats not using
steroids for example is this picture it says its saying to continue excercising/working out instead
of using steroids for example Dwain Chambers he got suspended for 2 years of track sprinting
due to steroids another example would be Marion Jones she won 3 gold medals and 2 bronze
medals at 2000 it later was stripped from her after admitting she used steroids.

One reason why i think steroids should be banned is if a team uses steroids the opposite team
wont have any chance of advantage which leaves the other team with the steroids and unfair
advantage to the team.one piece of evidence is Marion Jones she won 3 gold medals and 2
bronze medals at 2000 it later was stripped from her after she admitted she used steroids.this is
one example because she won medals when she was cheating when she was using
steroids.another piece of evidence is ​Anderson Silva.Anderson was untouchable in the
UFC Middle weight champion’s ​10 straight titles defense.he was widely considered one
of the greatest fighters of all time he then got tested positive for steroids in January last year.

Another reason why steroids should be banned is the dangers of steroids for example if men were
ever to take steroids they would develop Prominent Breast,Shrunken testicles,infertility,and
prostate gland enlargement.If women were to ever take steroids they would develop ​A deeper
voice,An enlarged clitoris,Increased body hair,Baldness,Infrequent or absent
periods.and if both Men and Women were to ever take steroids they would develop
Severe acne,ncreased risk of tendinitis and tendon rupture,Liver abnormalities and
tumors,High blood pressure a.k.a(hypertension),Heart and blood circulation problems
,Aggressive behaviors, rage or violence,Inhibited growth and development, and risk of
future health problems in teenagers.

The cons of steroids is Steroids makes people feel more confident when they’re about
to go against hard team.another thing is it helps athletes lose weight.It also ​provides 
muscles more oxygen and increases muscle mass.for example if someone was to ever 
lose wight easily espically if it wouldve been hard for them to lose that weight.another 
example is if someone wanted to ever lose weight they wouldve injected themselves 
with steroids and wouldve lost their weight so easily and they wouldve gained more 
muscle.another example is if someone was ever to get bullied and called weak they 
wouldve injected themselves with steroids so they can gain that muscle easily and 
wouldve gotten stronger easliy within that point. 
 
Now my conclusion is for you to say that we should ban steroids or agree to ban 
steroids is that if you were those types of teams you wouldve want to play the game 
safe and fair. because you would want to know which of you guys can win the game and 
if you were a parent or a coach you would also want the game to be played fair. 
espically if your son/daughter is getting hurt. or if your a coach your athletes wouldnt 
get hurt so in my defenese i think you should agree on banning steorids because its not 
safe for the team that isnt using it. and its also not safe to the people that are using .so i 
think you should agree on banning steroids.
