ELIGIBILITY
⚫ Open to all community / school based marching
band of Filipino citizenship, except military bands.

⚫ ONE TEAM POLICY – Each performer can only

represent One (1) Team. A disqualification will be
imposed to the entire team where the performer is
identified.

DRUMLINE BATTLE
⚫ Only DrumLine instruments complete with carrier are allowed to use. NOT
allowed to use Pit Percussion (Marimba, Vibraphone etc.), Electronic
Keyboard and Drum Set.
⚫ (10) – (30) playing members only. PENALTY: Disqualification
⚫ Each DrumLine group must perform a (2)minutes stand-still performance for
the ranking round.
⚫ Each DrumLine group will need to prepare at least (2) different routines that
consists DrumLine cadences of their own choice / composition, to be executed
together with some drill display.
⚫ Performance timing in PRELIMINARY Round shall NOT be longer than (2)
minutes/round.
⚫ Performance timing in FINAL Round shall NOT be longer than (3)
minutes/round.
⚫ Props suitable for the show are allowed to be used with safety.
⚫ Not allowed to use Fire or Pet in all performance time.

STREET PARADE
⚫ The instruments allowed are Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion,
Color Guard / Majorette.
⚫ Choose any suitable song for street parade competition.
NO fancy drill during parade at any given point.
⚫ (45) – (100) playing members and (10) – (30) Color Guards /
Majorettes. PENALTY: Disqualification
⚫ Not allowed to use Fire or Pet in all performance time.
⚫ All players shall perform from Start to End point, not allowed
to add / remove at any point. The stretch of the parade will
start from Bacoor Elementary School to Niog Street (across
Bakersfield Water Station) via the whole street of Gen.
Evangelista in the City of Bacoor.

MARCHING SHOW BAND COMPETITION
⚫ The instruments allowed are Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion, Color Guard / Majorette.
Electronic instruments are allowed, but no pre-recorded music, all must be played real-time.
Bands shall provide all sound system required including microphone, speakers etc.
⚫ (45) – (100) playing members including Pit Ensemble (must not exceed 12 pit players) and
(10) – (30) Color Guards / Majorettes. PENALTY: Disqualification
⚫ A band is allowed (5) minutes to set-up anywhere in the performance area. Entrance must
be made from the left side of the field. All members and uniformed staff must enter in the
same area. NO PROPS MEN ALLOWED during performance time and anywhere in the
performance area.
⚫ Bands should completely vacate the performance field within (3) minutes from the end of
the performance and exit on the upper right corner.
PENALTY: (1) point will be deducted to final tabulated score for use of props men and not following designated
entrance/exit area
⚫ A band is allowed a performance time, in full drill display, of (8) to (12) minutes only. The
timing will begin at the first move or first note played after the Band Conductor’s salute
following the announcer command. If there is no moving occurred within 30 seconds after
the salute, the timer will commence timing
PENALTY: (0.15) of a point will be deducted to final tabulated score for every three (3) seconds under/over the regulation
time of 8-12 minutes.
⚫ Not allowed to use Fire or Pet in all performance time.

Note: Performers may do warm-up / sound check during set-up time, but fanfare is NOT allowed.

 Additional Information
⚫ All DLB, SP & MSB Participants are REQUIRED to be in the Awarding Ceremony,
wearing FULL GALA UNIFORM. Each group must have at least 50% of their official
members in line. (Staff/Other Companion shall be seated in the audience area only.)
⚫ Order and sequence of performance will be assigned through draw lots. MSB
Participants are automatically in front of Street Parade sequence, correspondent with
their MSB order and sequence of performance.
⚫ Event Performance Information Sheet (EPIS) must be completed on/before May 31,
2019 (Friday) together with complete Participants Name List and copy of Valid ID.
⚫ Each group must submit Band Logo, Band Photo and Band Profile on/before May
31, 2019 (Friday).
⚫ Withdrawal of Participation is NOT allowed once contract is signed. Change of
category and editing of performers roster should be in writing and sent to Bacoor
Music Championship Executive Committee on or before May 31, 2019 (Friday).
⚫ Only the official representative, whose name is indicated in the signed entry form, is
allowed to claim the prize/s upon the presentation of a valid Identification Card (ID)
and PhilGEPS account information.
