1. Write a list of all you can do to renew, recharge and 

have time out for yourself; to look after yourself.

2. Choose which ones you will do for your self - care

routine that help you to renew, recharge, have time out

for yourself.

3. Write which self care activities you will do daily,

weekly and monthly.

4. Plan your self - care for the month - put it in your

calendar, diary or daily to do list.

5. Book your self - care appointments for the month - if

needed, and/or get the items for your self care routine.

If you are finding it hard to  make time for yourself -  it may

be because you have not planned to have time out for

your self!

When you plan your self - care - it makes it easier for you 

have time for yourself; to look after yourself - menatlly,

emotionally, physically and psychologically.


1. Write a list of all you can do to renew,
recharge and  have time out for
yourself; to look after yourself.

6. De - clutter your house - room by room.

7. Clear up baggage from exes, friends, your parents, your kids, your money,
your health, your fitness, choices, decisions, emotions - guilt, resentments,
anger, shame/embarrassed ..

8. Clear up/ clean up the mess in your life - bit by bit.

9. Go to the dentist.

10. Get your teeth straightened.

11. Organise a girl's night out!

12. Read a book.

13. Journal.

Questions to think about as you plan your self
care routine.

Pay attention to how you feel as you choose your self - care activity,
if it is for you or something you think you need or should do. 

What days will you do your self - care?

What things do you need?

What things can you do your self at home?

What things do you need to go for someone else to do?

What can you do weekly?

What can you do monthly?

Can people come to you-hair, nails, make up, personal trainer?

Do you need to go to places to complete your self care routine?

What problems could arise as you set these days as your self - care


days or willl you create a daily self care routine?

What excuses do you have that will prevent you from completing your
self care routine?
4. Put your self care activities onto your
planner.
Planning helps you to stay motivated.

Put your self care routine times onto the calendar.

Set the time for your self care routine.

Add a reminder alarm to remind you of your self care

activities.
Add self care routine prices into your weekly
budget.
Your self care routine is a great investment.

You may think you have no money to go but once you decide

to go - you do find the money!

When I think I can't afford it - I can't!

When I think I can afford it - I can afford it!

Keep working your budget until you can afford it.

It is change, something new so it may take a few tries to get

it into your budget.


5. Book your self - care appointments for the
month - if needed, and/or get the items for
your self care routine.
It's fun to make a plan to look after yourself.
