bring you this Cadet Pilot Program.
Selected by IndiGo from day one,
you will embark upon a unique route
of training. Successful completion of
training and the final checks by IndiGo
will take you directly to the role of
Junior First Officer on the Airbus A320
aircraft, flying IndiGo domestic and
international routes.

The Training
The following is designed to provide an example of your training footprint for
the Integrated CPL/MEIR IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program: what you’ll be doing,
how long for and where.

ASF 101 Private Pilot Single Flight Lab in Florida, USA 23 weeks
Approximately
ASF 121 Instrument Airplane Flight Lab in Florida, USA 50-60 hours
Approximately
ASF 201 Commercial Pilot Single Flight Lab in Florida, USA 16 weeks
ASF 221 Commercial Pilot Multi Flight Lab (MEIR) Approximately
Flight Lab in Florida, USA 8 weeks
Approximately
ASF 290 Commercial Pilot Hours Building in Florida, USA 8 weeks
USA FAA to Indian DGCA license conversion training in India Approximately
Flight training 20 hours (aircraft and simulator) 16 weeks
Approximately
Multi Pilot Training - MCC, Jet Handling, A320 Type Rating 8 weeks
Employment with IndiGo India
Note: On successful completion of the USA FAA training, you will return to India to complete
your USA FAA conversion (to Indian DGCA) at a DGCA approved training facility. Successful
completion of this phase will lead to the issue of an Indian DGCA MECPL/IR.
 Finance & Funding Entry Criteria
The funding required for the IndiGo Cadet Pilot To apply for the L3 Airline Academy IndiGo Cadet Pilot
Program comprises: Program you must meet the following requirements:

> Online test and assessment fee > Must be between 18 and 32 years of age
> Have a valid passport and the unrestricted right
> USA FAA License training– USD86,000 to live and work in India, with the ability to travel
inclusive of taxes unrestricted worldwide
> Fluent in English (verbal and written)
> Indian DGCA License conversion – USD 10,000 > Able to produce a Criminal Record Check (CRC)
inclusive of taxes (approximately INR 6,50,000 Basic Disclosure Certificate and pass all IndiGo
depending upon exchange rate) referencing checks
> A320 type rating – USD 39,000, inclusive of taxes. > Able to obtain and maintain Indian DGCA and FAA
Location – AATC Bangkok Class 1 Medical Certificate
> Must have access to the full funding required for

Academic Entry Standards
> Regulatory exam and skills test fees*
Minimum Education Qualification: 10+2 with minimum
> Initial USA FAA and Indian DGCA conversion score of 51% / Grade Point 6 / Grade C1 – Individually
CPL/MEIR License issue fee
in each subject i.e. Physics / Mathematics / English or a
*fees only cover first attempt. If you need to retake you will have Higher Degree in these subjects with minimum of 51%.
to pay for any further attempts NOTE: Prior to your induction training with IndiGo you will
be required to pass a drug test.
