A. GENERAL CONDITIONS:
All works shall be done in good workmanship and must conform to the standard practice
And satisfactory performance of works necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans,
detailed and specifications.
All details appearing in the working drawing shall be accordance with the architect/engineer’s
interpretation. No alteration of plans, working drawings and specifications shall be made the permission
of the engineer/architect.

4. Carpentry Works
5. Roofing and Its Framing
6. Sanitary/Plumbing Works
7. Electrical Works
8. Finishing Works
C. FOUNDATION:
Excavation shall be made to the proper depth with allowance for bottom fill of footings. Shall be
approximately level, clean, clear and free from loose materials. A four inches thick layer of sand and
gravel fill. The gravel not exceeding 1½ in size, shall be spread over the entire area where a footing is
shown to rest on ground. Using excavation materials or other filling materials or backfilling shall be
flashed with water and tamped every 6” in depth to avoid settlement. After the backfill has settled, fill all
the shallow places to bring the same to proper level or grade.

F. CARPENTRY WORKS:
Lumber shall be prepared well and of approved quality, prospective kinds required for the value of
various parts of the work and well-seasoned.
Lumber - Lumber intended for temporary structure to support heavy load such as
concrete should be selected from straight grain of wood, free from shakes or
knots and other defects.
Plywood - use class A ¼ “ thick for all ceiling boards, and follow what is required with
architect/engineer.
Ceiling - All ceiling boards must be nailed on 2”x2” ceiling joist spaced as shown on plans. It shall be
provided with 2”x2” hangers.
All roofing sheets shall be colored Long-span rib-type roof as manufactured and of approved quality. Side
laps must not be less than 1½ corrugation. All gutters, ridge rolls, flashing, and side rolls shall be of plain
G.I sheet, gauge #26. Gutters must have pitch of ⅛perfect to conductor.
Use hard steel trusses and rafter, purlins with the sized as specified on plan which is recommended by the
architect/engineer whose in-charge in the construction.
H. SANITARY/PLUMBING WORKS:
I. ELECTRICAL WORKS:
All electrical works & installations shall conform with the provisions of the latest edition
of the Electrical Code of the Philippines and the regulation of the Local & National authorities concern.
All installation shall be concealed from view, wiring shall be in case of polyvinyl chloride pipe schedule 40.
Pull boxes of appropriate sizes shall be approved, even if not indicated in the drawing to accommodate
the number of splices or wires.
All materials shall new & approved type appropriate for both location & use.
Electrical installations shall be done under the direct supervision of a duly licensed electrical engineer.
The architect/Engineer shall recommend paints and materials under this specification.
All interior wooden partitions, unless otherwise specified shall be with 3 coats of paints.
All gutters, flashing and capping shall be painted with primer coat before installation.
Varnishing all woodwork shall be done first by smoothing the surface with a sand paper.
