Introduction

Are sports people tend to be more attractive more than normal people?

As you all might have heard before athletes tend to be more attractive than normal,

It might sound cliché but is it true? From the statement If the statement is true What sport

makes people became appealing? Can it be applied to both men and women? These are the

questioned will be questioned for the topic and will be answered by teenagers with the age

15 - 17 also to prove the statement that was whether it’s true or not.

Methodology

In this area, I’ll research on teenagers with the age of 15 - 17. I collected this data to

prove whether the statement that has overused by many people is true or not. My aim is to

observe others opinion between men and women as well as to find the answers, why they

agree with the statement? , What kind of sports seems to be most attractive? And I’ll finish

off with the last question which is “Can it be applied to both men and women?”. The first

module is the charts of participants to represent the percentage whether how many male and

female participated in the survey. Also as to prove whether the statement is accurate or not

according to both sex opinion. The second module is to prove whether athletes are more

attractive than normal, the charts representing our main topic whether the main statement

is actually true. "Females often prefer to match high-quality males, and physical performance

is one aspect of quality. Thus, while predicting preference for physically fitter males, the

relationship between attractiveness and performance has been rarely quantified." (Brones,

2019) As you can see from the statement we’ll also prove whether the worldwide statement

can be applied to the teenagers with the age of 15 - 17. The third module is representing the

sport that can make people more attractive than others. Lastly, the last module is described

whether the attractiveness could be applied to both men and women.

Finding and discussion

In this section, I’ll be analysing the result that I’ve got from the survey. I’ll be focusing

solely on the data comparing to the statement that I stated in the introduction area. The data

will be shown below with the label (Appendix A, B, C, D). According to our main statement

“Are sports people tend to be more attractive more than normal people?” the result actually

corresponds to the statement 70% of 17 participants agrees that sports people are more

attractive than normal(Appendix B), According to an article I’ve found out that “Being an

athlete provided the same strength of a boost to positive traits as being attractive.” (Centeno,

2019) . According to the data, men and women have a different opinion about attractiveness

and some of them might also different from others as well because each individual is different

so as the attraction. Thirdly is about which kind of sports make people become extra

appealing? the most stand out sport is basketball, according to the study the team sports

player more likely to be Slightly better with social skills, Slightly more competitive and More

promiscuous (Centeno, 2019)

Lastly is about can it be applied to both men and women? The answer is yes! According

to the chart, 89% of participants agree that attractiveness also could be applied to both men

and women. Some of the interviewers have been given the reason why they find athletes

attractive, the most common reason is that they care about their body, have a healthy lifestyle

and look very attractive while participating in sports events.

Conclusion

After the survey that has been taken, I assumed that each individual attraction can be

different than others depends on their environment and opinion. Most of the female student
in high school find athletes more attractive than men according to the survey. Even though

men might find attractive less than women but they both agree that athletes are attractive

even if they are men or women perhaps they also agreed that both men and women are very

attractive when playing sports.
