Training Session

 I learned about the resume formats last 2 weeks like PTG, Ramp Group, Make Ur Career, and
Code Smart and Fyr soft

 Learned about US States, its abbreviation and different time zones between PST (Pacific
Standard Timings), MST (Mountain Standard Timings), CST (Central Standard Timings) and
EST (Eastern Standard Timings)

 After the leaned about the different types of visa’s they are:
 F1 visa(student)
 CPT (curriculum practical training) (he can work 20hrs per week and visa validity for 12
months)
 OPT (optional practical training) (he can work 40hrs per week and visa validity 12 to 29
months)
 H1B Visa (3yrs to 6yrs)
 H4 Visa
 L1 & L2
 GC (Green Card)
 USC (U.S. Citizen)

 Learned about the Tax terms 3 types of tax terms are there
 W2 - w2 is a tax term Here employer will take care of the candidate taxes (w2 working
visas OPT EAD, H4 EAD, L2 EAD, GC, USC, H1B transfer)
 C2C- corporation to corporation the transaction between two companies (c2c working
visas OPT EAD, H4 EAD, L2 EAD, GC, USC)
 1099- here candidate will work independent and candidate only pay the taxes by
himself (1099 working visas GC, USC)

 Learned about technologies and skills like JAVA, .NET, Python, SQL, BI, Network Engineer, big
data etc...

 I prepared strings on sample resumes from google (I pick the 3 sample resumes of java, .net,
SQL, etc. from google and prepared strings from those resumes).
