Climate Change and

Human Impact
By:Gweneth Ke
What is Climate Change?
Climate change is the change in the global or regional What problems are caused from it?
climate patterns. It has been most apparent in the mid
to late 20th century onward due to a rise in carbon Glaciers that have been known to be massive and
dioxide levels in our atmosphere caused by fossil fuels. support polar animals have been shrinking at a fast
rate. The carbon levels in our atmosphere are rising
fast, causing the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse
effect is the problem in which sunlight is being trapped
in the lower region of the atmosphere which in turn
heats the earth.

Ice caps melting

Causes of Climate Change
The Greenhouse Effect Carbon Dioxide

When the atmosphere traps heat and gas, causing the Carbon dioxide has been growing in our atmosphere
Earth to heat. due to it being the exhaust from the burning of fossil
fuels, the source of our energy.
Methane

Methane is more active than carbon dioxide, but there is

less of it in our atmosphere. This could come from
various human activities and waste from livestock.

With climate change happening rapidly, there would be With the melting of the ice, it is most likely that all of

would last from days to weeks.

Sea Level Rising upto 4 feet by 2100

The melting of land ice over the years is causing the Droughts and Heat
sea level to rise. It is predicted to grow up to another 4 Waves
feet than it had grown the last 8 inches since 1880.
Our Negative Impact On The Earth
Carbon from Cars Littering

The amount of cars that we use give off an abundance Rather than recycling and giving back to the Earth,
of carbon that realises itself into the atmosphere, some people choose to dump their trash into the
heating the Earth. trashfields and into the ocean. The trashfields take up
space and release gasses into the atmosphere. While
Beef Products trash in the ocean, endanger wildlife.

Those who consume many beef products are partially

to blame for the methane problem within our Carbon Dioxide
atmosphere. The cows in which the beef comes from Exaust
release tons of methane when they burp.
How We Could Make A Change
Solar Panels Eat less beef

Instead of burning fossil fuels and releasing carbon into Eating less beef would lower the amount of methane
the atmosphere, we should use solar panels to get our produced. Most of the methane is coming from the
energy. cows that are used for beef consumption. They release
methane by burping.
Fuel Efficient Cars
