Criteria:
Amway would facilitate generation of invoice and also pay service tax only to those ABOs:-
a) Who are liable to pay service tax and are registered under Service Tax
b) Who have provided the service tax registration certificate copy to Amway
Process:
Monthly service tax amount would be paid along with the commissions to ABOs.
The Invoice would show the total commission (except performance commission) and
Service Tax computed thereon separately.
ABOs would have to deposit the service tax liability within the prescribed time limit, to the
Govt.
ABOs should send the colored scanned copy of the monthly service tax invoice by 25th of
the month in which invoice is raised.
In case of any other commissions (such as GIP, annual commission etc.), ABOs should send
the signed copy of the invoice within 20 days from date of receipt of such commissions.

It is important to note the following:
a) If an ABO’s Service tax registration number is not available in AIE’s system, AIE
would not be able to facilitate raising of invoice by the ABO.
b) Service Tax RC copy must be provided to Amway within seven days from the date of
registration.
c) If an ABO fails to furnish the duly signed service tax invoice within the given time
limit, Amway would put all such ABOs on payment exception till receipt of signed copy
of the invoice.
