“Little Gesture for a Brighter Future”

I. Introduction

We formulated this study because we want to help the students from Malitlit Elementary
School to have a good quality of studying in which we will be giving away some school
supplies for them to have a pleasant living every time they will go to school. The location is
near our subdivision, so we planned to do our community service their since we all know that
Malitlit Elementary School are really in the need of help. Also, we include a schedule and
budgetray plan to balance our expenses.

1.1 Introduce the Stakeholders

Stakeholders are anyone who can influence or maybe influenced by an association, system
or venture. They can be inside or outer and they can be senior or junior levels. Some of the
examples of key stakeholders are loan bosses, executives, workers, government (and its
offices), proprietors (investors), providers, associations, and the network from which the
business draws its assets. We chose three sections of the grade three students from Malitlit
Elementary School because according to the teacher, most of the students who are in need of
help are the grade three students to compare to other levels. We are hoping that someday, the
things that we did to those students may give them hope. And also help the students prosper
in their future lives because this may give them the idea to help others as well as when they
grow up which can lead to an endless helping of one person to another.

1.2 Introduce the location

The desired place for our community service proposal is at the Malitlit Elementary School.
This is a public school. Public schools are government owned and made so that those who
have less in life can send their children to school without the tuition fee to pay for. It is located
in Barangay Malitlit near San Lorenzo Subdivision. When you enter the premises of the
school you will see the typical public school where there is dust at almost anywhere you go,
the walls need repainting and the students loitering around. We are hoping that someday the
things and help we did for them may give them hope and also help them prosper in their
future lives. This might give them the idea to help others as well when they grow up which
can lead to an endless helping of one person to another.
 II. Objectives

The following are the goals of our proposal:

• To satisfy the needs of the students in Malitlit Elementary School

By giving school supplies like pencils, papers, notebooks, and some other materials that
we usually use for school will help the students who does not have enough school supplies
because without this, students can never reach their full potential if they are lack of necessary
school material for them to easily study well.

• To improve the student’s quality of studying

By having this kind of school material the students will be motivated and also they will be
more interested in going to school. A student can be more active and participative in school
activities. This materials can support the student to reach their potential. It can also be their
guide in reaching their goals in life.

• To lessen the student’s financial burden

By sending some school materials it will be a big help for the students to lessen the things
that they need to buy. The students can save the money for other expenses or they can use it
for their extra allowance. And also to the parents of the student it will lessen the expenses on
buying this kinds of materials. Instead of spending money for this school materials it can be a
supplementary cost of buying the other needs in school like books and uniforms of the student.

Our activity is fit for our stakeholders because they are in need. Precisely our stakeholders
are students, elementary to be exact. The public school is located inside a large compound,
wherein most of the students lack access to purchase certain products. Since we know they do
lack in supplies according to a teacher that works there, some of the students’ parents cannot
afford to provide some needs for school. We provided a pencil, notebook, pad paper, crayons
and a sharpener for 45 students in one classroom. We know that just by small gestures of
helping, we can give them a little push to try harder. A little motivation can go a long way.

Budgetary Plan

The items that are listed below are common school supplies needed in
elementary and as specified by their teachers. Grade three students are the ones who
will benefit from it. These have been canvassed and considered for the cost, that it
meets the financial capacity of the members while satisfying the amount needed.
