Age. The age ranges from 18 years to 60 years old. The highest is 48 percent in the 18-

27 age range. Most of drug user in Barangay 176, 178 and 186 is young and awakened

early in the world of illegal drugs. The oldest group belongs to 60 years old and up with

2 percent.

Gender. There are 34 males with 68 percentage which is obviously higher than females

that has a frequency of 16 with 32 percentage. This indicates that males is more

attracted in using or trying drugs.

Civil Status. The majority of respondents are Single with a frequency of 31 with 62

percentage, while Married user got 28 percentage the remaining 10 percent are

Separated with their partners.

Educational Attainment. Most of the respondents are High School graduates with 56

percent, while the none Educational Atttainment respondents got 10 percent. Which is

there are more educated respondents but used drugs.

This sums up the effects of drugs according to the respondents. The effects of drugs

that they get depressed using it has a 21 frequency with 42 percent. And the remaining

effects that has 10 percent of getting sick, 12 percent that they appear confuse, 16

percent sweating a lot, irrational cravings with 18 percent and the remaining 2 percent is

belong to other effects of drugs.

It can be gleaned in the table that the respondents learn to use drugs because of their

peers/ friends that got 76 percent out of 100 percent. It tends to be that they are more

prone of using drugs when they are with their peer/ friends that is very influential people

to them that telling them bad thoughts. 18 percent of the respondents learn to use drugs

from their family/ relatives while the remaining 6 percent respondents learn through

online or in social media.

As stated in the table above, the majority of respondents are those who was influenced

by people who are using drugs that got a frequency of 14 or 28 percent. Respondents

that undergo from a family problem got 20 percent same with the depression while

stresses got a frequency of 11 with 22 percent. The least percentage on the reasons

why they use drugs is “others” that got 5 or 10 percent.

Based on the findings 48 percent of drug users feel happiness inside when they use

drugs got the majority out of the 2 choices, Numbness that got 20 percent and being out

of control that has a frequency of 16 with 32 percent that is really dangerous most of the

suspect in crimes stated that they don’t know what they’re doing because of the effects

of drugs.

The table above shows the frequency and percentage result based on their experiences

the findings in this survey concluded that there are only 9 out of 50 respondents regrets

using drugs and while other respondents answered that they’re still using drugs. It can

really affect the mind of the user and their perspective in life change. With a frequency

of 25 reasons that they take drugs for their needs while the other half cause harm to

anyone while high on drugs. 80 percent of the respondents they never and rarely

influence anyone in their area and to be safe from the police. 2 of the respondents out

of 50 said that they always succeed in escaping from being caught.
