My Sunday Best Dress

size newborn chest measures 16.5” and skirt is 8.5” long

Materials:
Caron Simply Soft, for newborn size:1 skein each of Off White (A) and Ocean (B); for 3/4T size 1
skein Off White (A), 2 skeins Ocean (B)

F/3.75mm hook
yarn needle

Notes: beginning ch count as 1st stitch of each row

**For Vivian's Angels row, you will carry both A and B:

Be sure to bring dropped color forward before picking up working color. A (off white) will be used for
the single crochets, and first and last double crochets of each shell. B (ocean) is only used for the 4
double crochets within the shell stitches of this last round.

Round 13: With B, sl st to ch 2 sp, [with A ch 3, with B (4 dc), with A dc] same ch 2 sp, *sk 3 sts, with
A sc in sp between shells, sk 3 sts, [with A dc, with B (4 dc), with A dc], sk next 3 sts *, repeat * 17
[28] times.

Cut and sew ends.
