Bioplastics were made from the yautia starch. 9 strips of bioplastic were tested
to determine its resistance to heat, tensile strength and biodegradability. The results of
The strips were studied and analyzed by their change in physical size and
appearance along with the organic plastic. 3 out of the 9 bioplastic strips were used in
order to determine its tensile strength, observing at which point the bioplastic will be
broken down when it is stretched, and did the same to the organic plastic. Results are
showed in table 1, results discovered that organic plastic can endure stretching by a
measurement of 23N.
The cut out strips of the bioplastic and organic plastic were used
in order to determine its resistance to heat, both of it were placed near the lit candle at
a distance of 1.3 inch away. Table 2 presented its effects at each time, it revealed that
the bioplastic is more stayed in shape longer than the organic plastic that at 1 minute
3 inch of bioplastic and organic plastic were placed in a card board and were
buried properly, table 3 presented its measurement week after week and it revealed
that bioplastic had major differences in terms of measurement, it presented that the
