SIGNUM command devices installed in an operator panel, in any grid pattern, can be connected to AS-Interface.
One slave can control up to 28 contacts and seven lamps. The individual control devices are contact blocks
controlled through electronic modules – these are snapped onto the command devices instead of conventional
switching elements or lampholders.

Using the PROFIBUS multiplexing system single connection, sophisticated applications
AS-Interface front panel modules can be quickly and efficiently coupled to PROFIBUS-DP.

The front panel module is used to connect four SIGNUM 3SB3 command devices, installed in a front panel, to
AS-Interface. After the actuators have been mounted, the module is screwed onto the actuators from the rear. SIGNUM 3SB3 on PROFIBUS –
