 Bajaj Electricals Limited (BEL), a globally renowned and trusted company, with a

 Bajaj Electricals business is spread across – Consumer Products (Appliances, Fans,


Lighting), Exports, Luminaires and EPC (Illumination, Transmission Towers and Power
Distribution).

 Bajaj Electricals has 19 branch offices spread in different parts of the country besides
being supported by a chain of distributors, authorized dealers, retail outlets, exclusive
showrooms called ‘Bajaj World’ and approximately 462 customer care centres.

Morphy Richards in India.

brands from across the world to give you the best of services. BEL has marketing
arrangements with Teleco Automation of Italy, tie ups with CREE Lighting of USA and
Securiton of Switzerland for Luminaires, Delta Controls of Canada for Integrated
Building Management Systems, Greystone of Canada and Magnum Energy of USA for
Wired and Wireless Sensors, Disney of USA and Midea of China for Fans, and Morphy
Richards of UK for Appliances.
Products
 Appliances– Under this company manufactures products such as water heaters, mixers,
micro ovens, room air coolers, irons, room heaters, gas stoves and electric kettles.
 Company manufactures a wide range of electric fans.
 Lighting– Under this company manufactures lamps, torches, tubes and wide range of
luminaries.
 Engineering and Projects– The company has been awarded with majors lighting
projects from NTPC, Reliance Infocom, Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu
State Electricity Board / Power Grid Corporation, Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam.

World Awards held by FMCG Federation of India in 2008.
 Company’s manufacturing unit have accredited with ISO 9001 / 9002 and ISO 14001
certifications for its quality management.
 Morphy Richards Irons and Blenders print Ads are awarded with the Silver Abby held at
Goa Fest 2008.Bajaj Electricals won the prestigious Master Brand title conferred by CMO
USA & CMO Asia in November 2010 for leadership and continuous innovation.
 Bajaj Lighting won the Gold Award in the Reader's Digest Trusted Brand 2011 Survey,
India.

Investment Rationale

 Extensive distribution network BJE is a dominant player in the consumer durables and

lighting segment with a strong network of 1000 distributor, 4000 authorised dealers,

400,000 retail outlets and 282 customer care centres spread across India, enhancing the

penetration, brand recognition and aftermarket service of its products.

 The company in FY17 merged its four-erstwhile consumer facing business divisions viz

Kitchen appliances, domestic appliances, fans and lighting into one.

 New launches to drive growth BJE has launched several new products across categories

through continuous innovation and investment in R&D.

 The company has set up its new R&D Centre in Navi Mumbai which houses all aspects of

research, design, development and testing capabilities under one roof.

 In the Fans segment, the company has introduced 5 star rated model, Kassels Star (50-

54 watts), which significantly reduces electricity consumption.

 It has also come out with a wide range of premium designer fans with cartoon

characters for kids. It has also launched an Internet of Things (IoT) enabled air cooler
