vividly conveyed.
Storyboard includes at least 3
frames. Events are organized neatly.
More than one character is depicted.
Displays one whole vignette and
conveys an important or pivotal
moment. Setting is visually appealing.
At least one instance of dialogue is
used. Each frame is titled with a
relevant heading. Completed
storyboard is correctly uploaded
using PowerPoint or Google Slides.

to story board images to convey
vignette theme. Student's poise is
calm and confident, voice is clear and
at an appropriate volume, and they

unorganized. More than one
character is depicted, but may not
include dialogue or an important
moment to relate to the vignette's
tone. Each frame has a relevant title.

vignette. Student is calm and
organized, not overly distracting with
body language and utilizes effective

The images do not adequately
convey a pivotal moment in the
narrative. Only one character is
created with no dialogue. Headings
may be missing. Digital submission
may be late or uploaded incorrectly.
Content does not relate to story
board visual aid and does not
present a specific vignette's tone or
theme. Student appears
unprepared, flustered or distracts
the audience with overuse of hand
motions and exaggerated body
language. Student stares at the
board or floor for the majority of
their presentation. Student speaks
too fast to comprehend, or at levels
too soft or loud for the setting.
Student is lackluster, not engaging
and is unable to connect with the
audience.
