ECONOMIC SURVEY OF

,_BACKGROUND:

There is a group of drivers, operators and allied drivers who wanted to


serve the riding public at their convenience. They started to form a group and
discuss what cand they do to help each others who are in the same line of work
or business. Somebody suggested that cooperative is a business enterprise
whom they can be members to obtain their common goals. The wanted their
group to have a legal personalityand so the thought of forming a cooperative
wherein it will help the members by providing the needs and services needed
by them. Hence they sought the help of some people who are already members
of the cooperatives, asked insights and advise on how to form a cooperative.

RATIONALE:

The group of drivers, operators and allied workers felt the need to unite
and work as one since all in the same line of work and business. They thought
that forming a cooperative would help them in the economic needs and their
need to have a legal personality. They wanted to experience the cooperative
way , embrace the values and practices they thought would help them toi
improve as individual and citizen .
