Thank you very much for having faith in me at this crucial formative stage for our Association. I
took a little while to write back because I was not sure how to respond. I am more than willing to
join others in assisting you with the facilitation task. It is important that I make it clear (that) my
contribution, for now, may be limited to a few areas. For example, I am not in a position to make
several trips to arrange for meeting venue due to prior work commitments. However, I am
available to correspond remotely and help with coordination, if need be.
Also, as you know, I am actively working on building an online collaboration system for
LAONA, if you will, and it is important that I am kept in the loop just so that I can augment the
functionality to address the real needs of the Association. In a nutshell, I am offering to work
with you, but I would rather be regarded as a not-so-active volunteer as far as the arrangement
for the Summer General Meeting is concerned.

That's great! I understand and appreciate your limitations! Actually, the something applies even
to me, go figure! That is why I value the use of technology so much for our tasks. I will expect
minimal active movement, if any, of the members of the Taskforce throughout our deliberations.

I could not be happier to have you as a member of this would-be the real founding fathers and

Another quick but important note: my name is Caesar Ogole, not Charles Ogole. The person who first
included me in the list sometime last year apparently had only my email address (cogole@gmail.com),

Find attached the LAONA Membership Application Form I designed and privately shared with
our colleague Caesar prior to the formation of our Taskforce.
The form indicates a membership fee of $ 50:00 decided through a survey by the members
earlier. However, the form does not include the annual subscription of $ 50:00 in subsequent
years; an amount that was also decided by the survey as well.
Upon review, I concluded that $ 50:00 of subscription was just too much for any similar or
professional organizations. Thus, I decided unilaterally to decrease our agreed upon figure to a
reasonable and comparable amount consistent with those of the other similar organizations.
Most important of all my form addresses both the individual and family rates, which ours did not
even take into account.
Please review the form carefully and let us have a consensus on it one-way or the
other. Our Taskforce mandate gives us the authority and the power to make any type of decisions
we consider as being in the best interest of the Association. After our consensus, I will

Personally I think the membership should be restricted to Lango (Langi??) but because the
constitution will allow for the "adoption of members", there needs to be some clarification on
the conditions under which such adoptions will take place and whether the adopted members will
have the rights as the other members.
However, once a member of an association, you must be accorded all rights and responsibilities
of a member, otherwise the association runs the risk of creating a tiered membership!

Dear All,
This membership stuff is a tricky but very important question. Our proposed constitution and
bylaws are clear on our purpose. Following is our Association purpose as stated in both the
constitution and the bylaws:
ARTICLE 3 - PURPOSE
Section 2: The specific charitable and public purposes for which the Association is organized
include (i) promoting social, cultural, educational, and economic progress of the Lango and
their lineal descendents of Uganda in North America. (ii) using its income and principal to carry
on activities or programs which support or benefit the Association; and (iii) carrying out such
other activities as the Board of Directors determines will benefit and support the Corporation.
Both our constitution and the bylaws are flexible enough to authorize our Board of Directors to
consider any non-Lango for membership who supports our above-stated purpose. I think this is a
very good thing for our organization. It shows we do not discriminate, except one does not
support our purpose.
I would not want to see the likes of Bill Gates denied membership consideration even when they
put their money where their mouth is in support of the purpose of our Association. In addition, I
do not honestly foresee a scramble by the non-Lango to take over the Association from us, the
Lango, any time soon.
I strongly suggest that is in our best interest to welcome others to our Association if they can
demonstrate their genuine interest and support of our Association.

Our charge was twofold. First, the charge is to establish the Association. Second, it is to organize the
Inauguration of the Association. There is more need for us to keep going back to the Members to re-seek
the authority and power they have already given us. The March date for the registration of the
organization is a timeline only to keep our eyes on the ball. It is subject to revision anytime dependent on
the actual date of registration of the Association.

I actually discussed the issue of birthday with Caesar on this forum before. For fear of identity theft, we
do not want to include the exact birthday of a person on our membership form. The month and the
year are adequate to separate the minors (17 years and below) from the adults (18 years and above).
On your second question, the Taskforce has the mandate to make any decision they consider is in the
best interest of the Association or of the members. Members can always reject or revise our decisions as
they deem fit at the end of the day. None of our actions is necessarily permanent. I suggest the
taskforce adopt Caesar’s software contingent upon it future approval by the membership.

Greetings… indeed I am so impressed by all this great work and input from all
of you. Please be informed that my heart has of late been beating a little faster
with each round of new ideas being brought to the table by this task force.
Thank you to all of you for allowing us to resume the historic countdown to the
ultimate launch and liftoff of our “Space Ship”
I have two comments on membership and membership dues as follows:
MEMBERSHIP
Membership should be open to all the residents of Americas and to be specific
at least the local jurisdiction of incorporation. Upon incorporation as a
prerequisite for being granted a 501 (3) C tax exempt status our purpose must
not go against public policy by locking others out. It’s however pretty normal to
for example establish a Korean Presbyterian Church or a Jewish Temple or
Slovakian Reformed Catholic Church. Although they keep their doors open to
the general public the real trick is in who they finally accept or admit as a
member with or without voting rights.
Many of us have now been domiciled in “Greater Lango” or “New Lango”

which now includes the Americas for quite a long time and yet for the most
part we haven’t witnessed other people joining these very focused special
needs none profit organizations be it a church or an advocacy group like
Jewish Anti Defamation League. All these groups are open to anyone joining
subject to qualification and approval. All they have to do is adhere to being
color blind.
Open membership to none Langi subject to screening by the membership

committee and ultimately by LOANA’s board of directors will allow us to attract
good friends and supporters along way. This can be a creative door for
accessing certain vital resources.
In many corporate and private organizations it’s very common to have several
types of recognized participants and supporters. Some of the notable
scenarios includes but isn’t limited to the following:
 Share Holders with voting rights

 Preferred Share Holders without voting rights
 Share Holders with Supper Voting Rights
 Friends or supporters of the organization. They have no voting rights but
may vote among themselves. The board of directors may address
outside votes as an important constituent representing a mutual interest
of the organization. This is sometimes seen as an act of responsible
corporate citizenship.
 Corporate Sponsors or advertisers are the other recognizable fringe

groups which are automatically included in these calculations.
For LOANA, all the above interest groups ought to be considered as a

welcomed part of our rich and diverse ecosystem as a growing organization.
If implemented properly concerns of a tiered membership are muted because
each has a specific role as supporters or direct members.
MEMBERSHIP DUES
I suggest that we deploy the internet as the primary platform for signing up
members and managing our receivables. In this digital age upon signing up
online on our website, prior to checkout members/applicants could be given
online payment as our preferred option or they do it via mail. Online payment
processing solution is simple to implement and will give us needed added
efficiencies. We should adopt this as our primary payment option and with
Brother Caesar Ogloe’s good spit, perhaps the whole thing could be
seamlessly integrated together.

First I thank All-Mighty God, Obanga, Allah, for bringing us together in this team. I had
promised Prof. Tom that I will not say a word in this deliberation. That position has changed for
now conscientiously. Therefore, in discussing membership and other serious matters pertaining
to the formation of a legitimate organization, which will represent our intended objectives and,

Hi Professor,
The legal language here is very important. It's not really a matter of our thoughts - it's the language that
has to be crystal clear. I'm speaking here as someone who has worked in the legal field. I'm specifically
referring to the words "lineal descendants". The issue is not whether one's children are one's own or
not, the issue is the appropriate language in our documents to address one of the issues of membership.
Why rush the Constitution (when all members haven't even weighed in on it) through the process when
there can possibly be many other points in it that need to be tweaked?
I suggest our Legal Counsel review this as well- if you need pro bono Legal commentary on this issue, I
can loop in some great attorneys to weigh in.

I agree with you about the need to use theappropriate language in our Constitution for addressing
the issues, esp. of membership. I do not know whether you received a copy of it or not but
I shared my initial drafts of the Constitution actually twice with every member of the Association
way back during the early days of the defunct leadership. I specifically asked members to
review the documents and send me their suggestions, if any, for revision. I only heard back from
two, I repeat two individuals. One simply said that they preferred mine to a Lango Association
UK Constitution submitted by another member. Our colleague Caesar Ogole was the second and
only individual who actually reviewed it critically and provided me with substantive suggestions
for revision. Since then I have been improving it repeatedly to make it relatively brief, concise
and readable. I have also promised to give members a PowerPoint presentation of the
Constitution, along with a hard copy of my final draft at the Inauguration before a motion to
approve it with amendments, if any, on the second day of the conference. Hence, it is not true to
suggest that I am rushing the Constitution (when all members haven't even weighed in on it)
through the process when there can possibly be many other points in it that need to be
tweaked.
I would appreciate it very much in deed if you could use your Legal Counsel to review our
Constitution and the Bylaws for us pro bono. Just let me know when I should send you the
documents via the e-mail. I do not mean to rush you but please bear with me that; still, time is of
the essence in this matter.

Dear LAONA Members,
This is to clarify my role as the Facilitator and the functions of the Taskforce to the members. My role as
the Facilitator is to facilitate and contribute to the fulfillment of our mission. The Taskforce is a temporary
group of people formed to carry out a specific mission that requires a multi-disciplinary approach.
Our mission is to establish and organize the inauguration of the Association. What does that mean
exactly? It means to write the constitution and the bylaws; to apply to a state government and US
government for registration and tax-exemption status of the Association, respectively; and to organize
the inauguration of the Association by the members. The details of every step we take to accomplish our
mission is important but it is not necessary for the Facilitator keep to explaining it to the members all the
time, except through the his regular progress reports to the members.
Please give us a chance to fulfill our mission. If you have questions or concerns, please let me know
directly; not annonimously; or through a third party. I will answer you expeditiously. If you have nothing
to contribute, get out of the way and let others make a difference.

Felicitous salutations to you for joining hands to serve as a team member on this
crucial LAONA Taskforce. Sorry to hear about your sore and bruised arm. Under the
circumstance, since you are in New England, an effective therapeutic remedy is to
spend the rest of this cold weekend nursing it in an igloo on a nice warm bowl of olel
of New England clam chowder…then top it with good bojo before washing it down
with your favorite beverage and next day you will be ready to go.
In addition to appalling conditions in our ancestral homeland, many Langi across the
Americas are today living and paying taxes as silent and unnoticed contributors to
progress in numerous localities in many states or provinces. By working together as a
united community, for our common good, we will start to have a very positive impact
on our narrative both in the Americas and also back in Lango. Today there are
tremendous untapped opportunities all around us and as a prerequisite for access to
benefit our community it’s imperative for us to forge forward together as LAONA.
I take this opportunity to thank you and the entire team of the LAONA taskforce for
stepping forward to help work on a vital needed change in our community instead of
just watching in awe from the sidelines as has been the case for years. Compliments
also go to our Facilitator for his great stewardship which has enabled us to fasten our

Let me again congratulate those members of our community who have volunteered to join hands

Dear Members of LAONA,
Once again, I am thrilled to introduce you Mr.Ben Magamo Wacha, yet another volunteer to our LAONA
Taskforce effectively immediately. Ben is not a Johnnie-Come-Lately to our Association. Ben served as
the treasurer of LAONA in the defunct Administration. Ben lives in the Greater Washington DC area. His
addition brings to nine the number of our Taskforce volunteers, excluding the Facilitator.
With nine competent volunteers, the Facilitator now has enough team to accomplish his stated Taskforce
mission, which is to establish and inaugurate the LAONA by the end of June 30, 2013.
If there is a further need for more volunteers in the future, the Facilitator will announce it to the
membership on this forum.
On your behalf and the LAONA Taskforce volunteers, I say to the lucky Ben, welcome aboard
Brother! God or Allah has not finished with you yet. Our Association needs your contribution more than
ever before.

Subject: Choosing the Location for the Inauguration of LAONA
Dear LAONA Taskforce Members,

It is time we chose the location for the Inauguration of our Association in June 2013. First, we
must choose the City; afterwards, the Venue, place, or hotel within the city to hold the meeting
itself.
Will the city appeal to the conference audience; is it hassle-free; easily accessible to those
attending byroad/rail/air links; travel within the city; entertainment; affordable; and the number
of attendees (Langi) living in or near it.
I suggest that the Taskforce nominate three cities for the members to choose afterwards by vote
only one of them.
What does each of you think of my suggestion?

1. I have read the constitution again today and I think as time goes by, and since this is a living
document,there is always time to add or delete any part that the committee deem
necessary. Therefore I would say for now its okay.
2. About the location for the Inauguration I would suggest Philadelphia. We have almost 22
adults excluding children under 17 years of age.

I won't speak for Adam but I must say this is a task that is beyond the Canadians! The cities that
I am very familiar with- New York, Chicago, and Washington DC all have advantages and
disadvantages- with the disadvantages almost out-weighing the advantages. I am not familiar
with enough cities in the US to make a suggestion. I am therefore going to leave this for the
Americans to decide but here is my thinking:
I agree with accessibility, hastle free, appeal etc., as deciding factors however the number of
people attending the conference from a city should not be one of those factors. It would be
embarrassing for a host city to have only residents at the conference and a handful or no one
from out of town as a result of members boycotting. We have to acknowledge that some cities
will become a lightning rod and may create more divisions within the community. It would be
nice if the choice of city ends up uniting us than dividing us. I think that logistics for the
conference organizers and affordability and accessibility for out of towners should be on top of
the list of deciding factors.
I also hope that the choice of city won't be just to accommodate diplomats and government
representatives as was suggested by a member a week ago.
Yes to the suggestion that we nominate three and put it to a vote.

On the question of the City location for the Inauguration of LAONA, I forgot to remind you not to
forget your own cities. You should please feel free to nominate your own cities and, why not? That
is what happens in the Olympics, isn't it? Folks nominate their own cities for the next games
and actively campaign for them. In the final analysis, the vote of the Olympcs Committee
members decides which city will host the next games.

I hear you about the potential
for some cities to become a lightning rod for disunity among us. I
have reiterated repeatedly my stand on this issue. Here it is again. Lango Association of North
America is free to hold its meetings anywhere and everywhere at the discretion of its
leadership". We just cannot allow any one person or group of individuals to dictate to us where
we can or cannot hold our Association's meetings. If we succumbed to this kind of a threat or a
fear from individuals, we shall have lost our independence as an Association completely.
The process is democratic and fair. Let us follow it. The Taskforce names three cities and the
members vote to choose only one of them for the venue.

I have a big surprise for you. Find attached my my own creative ideas of what our logo for the
Association should look like.
As you are all aware, the Rhino (Amuka) is our Lango mascot back home in Uganda.
For our Association though, I preferred a close-up only of the head region of the animal,
highlighting the very features that make Amuka unique, fierce and, at the same time, majestic
and one of the most marveled at creatures on earth. There are two pairs of the logo design. Each
pair consists of a logo with the full name of the Association and a logo with just the acronym of
the name of the Association.
Imagine the logo on you as a T-or as a Polo shirt, a jersey, a cap, or in your household
collections as utensils, dining chairs, or you name it, as memorabilia of the LAONA
Inauguration Day.
I need your thumbs up, thumbs down, or suggestions for modifications before I could present it
to the members for their approval as well, long before our Inauguration Day. The memorabilia
bearing our logo could be major fundraisers for us on the Inauguration Day.
Just let me know about any changes, if any, you would like me to make. Remember, time is of
the essence in this matter. I would appreciate your feedback no later than this coming Saturday
March 9, 2013, hopefully, earlier.

That's so cool, Professor! It makes sense now to me- all along I didn't why the Rhino was a
Lango mascot back home in Uganda. I am lost at a choice between the two colors, but I think I
would stretch my thumb a bit higher for the blue.
When you get all the feedback are done with any modifications, I will request you to avail me
with the logo in an image format so I can incorporate it into our software. [And let me take this
opportunity to update you on the development of the software: the work is in progress, and the
time-line remains as I had hinted earlier].

I like the look. Kudos for the effort. Like I said, I knew you would not let us down. Another

I like the surprise, and what is in it. I woould add, though that I hope it would even look more
gracious with a streek of our Lango colors along the bottom of the circle. Something akin to the
cloth wrap (blue and gold) we have on the Lango emblame.

I am glad you like my creation. In this kind of a thing, originality is the key, along with keeping it
simple. The rhino is an animal given to us by the grace of God/Allah. No one owns a copyright of it. Color
patterns are someone's creative work of arts subject to copyrights law. In addition, too many colors
overshadow the beauty of a thing, including even the houses we live in; no wonder the White House
is always distintive in its only one color. Langi kobo ni "apoti omio agwe-gwe oturu yibe". That is
the essence of copycatting. It usually takes away something from the original work of art if it does not get
you into trouble.

This is wonderful work and very inspiring. Salutations are in order for your
thoughtfulness. This execution gives us a clear glimpse of what great professors are
made of...Check this while we were still in second gear thinking about the venue, you
were already at warp speed ahead of the pack in third gear unveiling this great lovely
logo which has a deeply seated cultural symbolism for our people.
If any, the only adjustment that I may suggest is to use colors to further drive the
point home. I know we have to be mindful of copy write concerns so could we
perhaps use about three colored thick lines below the logo to show unity, peace and
prosperity.
Alternatively we may keep it the way it is right now but then later on use a flag with
about three colors to emphasis and depict ideals which are relevant to our narrative
of unity, peace prosperity and abundance.
Brother Thomas, although I am ready for liftoff, I only have one final clarification to
seek from you. Despite your demanding schedule how did you find the extra time to
produce this great logo? In order to try to mirror your fine efforts, henceforth, I
know we now have to sleep less and work faster and harder to maintain these new
high standards and momentum which you have generously and graciously show us.

Thank you very much for your generous and kind words of praise. More importantly, I am glad
you are ecstatic about our new logo designs. I like your description of it as "deeply seated
cultural symbolism for our people". That sums it all up for me my Brother. Thanks! It is even
more reason why we should keep it as simple as it is for the time being, anyway. Let us try hard
to resist our natural tendency to think that “the more the colors, the more the beauty". The more
the colors in anything the more expensive it is to produce it, much less to remember it. As an
example, which is the easiest flag of nations to remember? I bet it is Japan's flag. Am I
wrong? Why is that so? I think because it is just a single red dot in the middle of a white piece
of cloth. I challenge you to try to draw Uganda’s flag by heart, much less remember the order of
those colors and what each of them represents. I would give you a Nobel Price for it if you drew
it successfully.
Finally, you ask me, "Despite your demanding schedule how did you find the extra time to
produce this great logo?" I did not find extra to work on the logo. I just multitasked. Anyone
can do it too, including you my Brother Hudson!

Thomas- what a crative idea! I like the logo. I know color does not matter so much but I prefer
forest green rather than blue for two reasons:
Amuka is a forest animal and Lango people are agriculturist who depend on forest land for
survival.
Thomas, as we discussed last night concerning website for our associtaion, I have two computer
science students who are willing to help us to crate a website for free, what I need from the
members is the information(s) which will be put on the website. The informations that I need
include the following: The association's misson statement, the logo, pictures, background of the
association, accompishment, funding members if neccessary, and any other relevant
informations for the association. The work will begin as soon as I have atleast some of these
informations. If we work on this fast enough, the website will be up or we will launch it during
the inauguration of LAONA.
One of my colleague is also willing to find us a website host- who will host our website free for
sometime before they begin charging us.

Hi Professor,
Those are really nice designs! I'm with the folks who like the blue background designs best. The
amuka's face is very serious as if he's saying 'don't bother me and I won't bother you'!
I suggest that whichever ones we choose to use, we should get Trademarked. This way we'll be
protected by Intellectual Property law. You'd be amazed at how people out there can steal
designs, sketches and drawings.

Hello to all!
Well Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the time you have all been waiting for- time to choose our
conference city. This is a very important task that I hope the membership will take very seriously.
While most members would prefer to have the conference take place in their own home cities, I would
like to remind the membership that this will be one of many, many conferences and yes, your home city
will be called upon to do the needful at some point!
The task force wrestled with this decision for days and the members were able to narrow down the
choices to three cities as outlined by the Facilitator. It is now time to vote on the three cities -
.Washington, DC; Philadelphia, PA & Chicago, IL. The polls will open as of midnight tonight (whatever
your time zone is) therefore voting will run from Wednesday March 6 through to midnight Friday
March 8, 2013,
While it will be a one member one vote process, members are free to advocate to, campagin, and or
arm-twist other members to vote for their city. If you think you can sell your city effectively as the best
place to hold this conference, let us hear you out. While selling a city of choice, one should however
keep in mind the factors you need to consider that the facilitator listed below- city is hassle-free; easily
accessible to those attending byroad/rail/air links; travel within the city; entertainment; affordable; and
the number of attendees (Langi) living in or near it.
So email your choice of city directly to me Florence Ocen at ocen_florence@yahoo.com. Please do not
copy everyone or anyone on your vote- it should be your email to me directly. I hope many members
will take the opportunity to weigh in on this very important process for our upcoming conference.

Dear LAONA Members,
Once again, I salute our one and only own, Ms Florence Ocen, for keeping the fire of our
fledgling democracy burning. Florence, I congratulate you wholeheartedly on behalf of the members of
the Association for a job very well done. Thank you!
Members, you have indeed spoken. You have chosen Philadelphia, PA by a landslide vote of 75% over
Washington, DC & Chicago, IL for our Inauguration venue in June. Your choice could not be more
appropriate for the Inauguration of our Association. During the American Revolution, Philadelphia
played an instrumental role as a meeting place for the Founding Fathers of the United States, who
signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and the Constitution in 1787. That is exactly the same
sort of role, as Philadelphia will perform for us when we assemble there in a few months to inaugurate
our own Association.
I would like to take this opportunity now to confirm from our earlier considerations the dates of June
Friday 21 - Sunday 23, 2013 as the official dates of the Inaugural Conference for our Association in
Philadelphia. Everybody please mark your calendars!
Finally yet importantly, I would like also to correct a few prevailing misconceptions about our emerging
and vibrant Association. There is a misunderstanding by some of us that since this is a cultural
Association about the Lango Heritage every Lango must join it. This is false! This Association is only for
the Lango descents and friends in North America who are enthusiastic, willing, ready and free to come
together as one in pursuit of unity peace and prosperity for themselves. No one has any more or
less rights to join the Association than anyone else, who resides in North America and supports its
purpose. No one is under force, whatsoever, to join the Association against their wishes. However,
everyone is welcome to join Association in accordance with his or her conscience and wishes.

Dear Colleagues (Hudson Ayo, Betty Odero, Alex Atim Ayang and Caesar Ogole),
We have come a long way but we are finally here at the brink of forming our Association
(LAONA). The members have decided the issue of the City location for the inauguration
convention of our Association, alleluia! The members also know the dates of the conference.
We must now begin to plan for the convention effective immediately. We do not have much
time left to get it done. The planning process requires a well-coordinated and sustained team
effort of a conference committee, which is the purpose of this correspondence with the four of
you from the Facilitator’s Taskforce.
We are very lucky to have Hudson and Betty from Philadelphia among us, where the
convention will take place, or is that due to the Facilitator’s foresight, in the first place; just
kidding!
I am appointing the four of you as our Convention Committee Officers. Hudson and Betty will
serve as the Program Committee Chair and Co-Chair, respectively. Alex and Caesar will act as
our Publicity and PR Committee Chair and Co-Chair, respectively because of what they are
doing already for the Association, web site and software developments, respectively.
I am asking Hudson and Betty to select 4-6 additional individuals who are residents of
Philadelphia to join them as members of the Convention Committee as well. As Facilitator, I
will belong to the Convention Committee as an ex-officio.

It is time we proved our skeptics wrong. Let our people rise like a rhino and shine in unity,
peace and prosperity in North America.

 Selection of the conference venue or the hotel in Philadelphia

conference, and other committees in the planning of the conference space, including

also works with the local Convention & Visitors’ Bureau, if applicable.
 Handling of Publicity & Public Relations Team:

 Gathering media contacts for targeted outreach
 Promoting the conference through placements in various publication calendars and

Dear Facilitator,
Thank you for appointing me to this new task- to chair the Publicity and Public Relations committee for
LAONA formation. This is a wonderful idea to create committees and delegate the workload. While I
accept this appointment, I propose the following:
1) We as task force members, need to draw a working plan for the Convention ( we need to prepare a
planning calender with a target dates and deadlines), this will let us decide on which task can be
accomplish and which one we can live for a later dates.
2) Since we have both time and financial constrain, we need to limit the scope of our plan for the
convention, to avoid us getting into a stressful situation and mess.
3) Is it possible to call members to a teleconference so that we can exchange ideas and try to come up
with working plan for the convention?

The straight answer to your question is that we do not have a letterhead at this time. I do not expect us to
have one any time soon. The idea of inviting the Mayor of Phillie to our inaugural convention
even crossed my mind. In fact, I was discussing it with Hudson at the same time as you were talking
about it with Caesar.
Please hold on the official invitations of the guests until you are certain of a few things first, such as the
hotel venue, number of those who have registered to attend the conference, and the status of our website
and Caesar's software. However, that should not stop you from unofficially exploring with your guests
about their potential of availability.
A letterhead requires a logo and I am the one still working on the latter with my graphic artist. I hope my
info is helpful. I commend you enormously for your thoughtfulness and foresight in this matter.

I had yet another nice conversation with our Brother Hudson after mine with you. In the end, I told him I
would overnight by express mail the document to him first, which the Postal Service guaranteed delivery
tomorrow on Thursday. Hudson promised me he would sign and, in turn, overnight it to you also by
express mail on the same day as he received it, unless it arrived too late to get it to the Post
Office. Accordingly, I forwarded him your physical address that you sent me for that purpose. I know it is
a little bit expensive but I am asking you to sacrifice as well and return the document to me by the

my possession, bearing the official GREAT SEAL of the State of Missouri and the signature of Jason
Kander, Secretary of State.
I have also been to check with a bank in town if we could now open an official bank account in the name
of our organization. After seeing our Certificate of Incorporation, the Bank’s answer to my question is
YES, YES and YES!
How sweet!

Once again, I have a good piece of news for you. I have just opened up a Checking Bank
Account for LAONA at the Central Bank, 500 Madison Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101. In
order to operate the account efficiently and effectively, I am the only signer at this time until the
elections of our permanent officials in June. I opened the account with US dollars $100.00 out
of my pocket, much the same way as I paid a $ 25:00 fees to incorporate the Association in the
State of Missouri. I would like $60.00 out of the $100.00 to count towards my family
membership fee. However, I will give away the remaining balance of $40.00 plus the $ 25:00
fee ($65.00 in total) as a charity donation to the Association.
LAONA needs a financial shot in the arm to get it rolling. LAONA must get this boost from us

Dear LAONA Members,

We the Lango in North America have risen up and formed our own organization, the Lango
Association of North America (LAONA). Many of us have put our money where mouths are
already. We have paid up our membership dues and donated generously as well to the
Association. We shall recognize all of our donors by name at the Inaugural Convention in
Philadelphia, PA June 21 – 23, 2013.
Find attached our long list of 54 prospective members of our Association. Sixteen of the people
on the list have already paid up their membership dues and started a growing list of the
Founding Members of our Association. In addition, most of them have given generous
donations to the Association as well. We want to thank every one of them for their promptness
and individual or family obligation to our Association.
We wish to Leave No Lango Behind. We welcome every brother, sister, and friend of the
Association as long as they live in North America and demonstrate their support of our mission.
If you have not yet paid your membership dues, you are not too late to pay it and still become a
founding member of the Association as well. You just need to send me your payment, including
any donation, if possible, as soon as possible for your membership dues. As a pioneer of the
Association, you would be proud of your financial contribution to the Association at the time
when it most needed your help for its creation. While they would reap the benefits of the
Association, our future generations would also remember you for your sacrifice.

Dear LAONA Members,

Finally, all the hard work of securing an excellent hotel venue within the City of Philadelphia,
PA for our historic inauguration of the Lango Association of North America (LAONA), June 21-
13, 2013, is complete. We owe it all to our one and only the entrepreneurial and adventurous
spaceship Captain, Mr. Hudson Ayo and his Co-pilot, the incomparable Ms. Betty
O’Dero. Thank you very much to both of you for a job well done!
In summary, the Residence Inn Philadelphia Airport right by the Philadelphia International
Airport is as convenient a venue for our Inaugural Convention as we could have hoped for
LAONA. The Hotel is close by the airport; it is easily accessible by air, rail and road; it offers a
free parking and, most important of all, unbeatable room rates for our Group.
However, to get the full benefits of our negotiated Group package, the sooner everyone calls and

Brother Caesar, this is marvelous uplifting news. I just finished my second

walk around it and got even a better revelation of this data driven App. Yes, I have
kicked the tires, checked the horsepower and even used GPS to mark my perimeter
around it. The obvious whisper in this neck of the woods is that like a grease
monkey without any qualms or hesitation, I dutifully crawled under the hood and
sampled the connected neatly tacked away tech and artificial intelligence that's waiting
for us upon launch.
My preliminary findings is of a welcomed great tech creation on our watch. As far as I

am concerned this App is clearly a labor of love by a dedicated and generous true noble
Jedi who stands tall before all of us.
This wonderful contribution is very appreciably noted. As conceived and upon release
this app will not just significantly augment the capabilities and the activities of our data
team but it will also be a very crucial game changer in our narrative going forward. In
this constantly changing global village where the trend is to seamlessly ramp upwards
we need more than just basic laser beams to advance faster and farther.
Brother Caesar, kudos to you and all LAONA visionaries who continues to awe us with
their relentless dedication and the willingness to further advance our cause.

Excellent piece of work! This obviously took a lot of thinking! I am very impressed with this and
cannot wait for it to be launched!
I am sending this only to you because I am attaching my comments- and they are just that-
comments and a few suggestions. You created this app so you definitely know how it works
better than anyone else so if my questions do not make sense, or are just plain stupid, feel free to
tell me that it is too complicated to explain this etc. etc. etc.... I made my comments right on the
document so that you can follow my thinking...hopefully.
I did not have a lot of time to do a comprehensive reivew of the document as I would have liked
but I will continue reviewing it from time to time to see if there are things that need to be
flagged!. You will also see that I made the comments over several days and sometimes on
different computers- comments are all mine - have been carrying the document around with me
for some time!
All in all, I am very impressed and quite excited! Great job and I am very proud of you!

Hi Florence,
I made a preliminary perusal of the review comments that you made. I like all the
comments and suggestions that you made! Excellent critical review, I must say. If
anything needs further discussion, I will know it better when I resume hands-on work -
sometime next week, or a week after. I am currently on vacation.
I can still try respond to some of them now, especially those that I can remember on top
of my head, and in no order at all:
1. I wasn't sure whether to put my face or some cartoon; I'm glad you singled it out that
it was a good idea on my part. Back to you to do something of the kind; I can't wait!
Really.
2. Naming: that, I admit you're right. I am not so worried about naming my children in
the future. Reason is that I will (hopefully) have a helping hand to come up with some
good names! That is funny!
3. About the deliberate procrastination to submit survey response - so true!
4. And translation - thanks to coming to my rescue! I struggled for ages trying to figure
out how to translate "Jojok Amalu" into English, but I couldn't! I knew I was wrong, but I
didn't know the right answer..

Agenda. As I noted, the Development Agenda got lost in the other agenda which
some people were pursuing instead. As you can see, we managed to put together a
good coalition of experts in various fields. I hope one day some people will return

That is a document you need to keep for your record purposes, if not for anything else, anyway. It is not
a secret document. Robert Okello is a very good friend of mine. He maintains a home in Connecticut
though he spends most of his time in retirement in Lira. He has just become a member of LAONA
recently when he was out here about two weeks ago. He promised to send me a personal copy of the
same document as you got when he returned home. He has just done that a few moments ago!
By the way, I have not heard from you in a little while. How is your software development
project for LAONA progressing?
