My aim is to run a firm specializing in Adult Education/ Training and Derelopment for
the modern-day u,orldorce. I believe that before I start my dream project, I should be
aware and soundly educated on the grounds of adult education. I $'ant to build a strong
base in understanding adults from diverse backgrounds and be n'ell lersed to enable
them to become successful professionals through mI training. It u,ould be an
enlightening experience and a prililege to be part of)our University lr.hich has a rich
experience in this field.

My aspiration got ignited during my initial u'orking dals rith Citibankthrough

Converh.s India Sen'ices. Here, I realized the extensiYe impact a trainer has in the lives
of n'orking professionals. I also understood how one should facilitate adults to enable
them to overcome their day to day challenges and realize their full potential. I also
gained this insight that to inspire otherc one must lead by example. This has further
fuelled my needs to self-improvement.
I took my first step towards realizing my dream project by strir'ing harder and getting
promoted as a Trainer with Citibank. Through this role I've had the experience of
working with adults from various age groups, personality t5pes and cultural
backgrounds. This experience gave me immense value and strengthened m1.
determination to work for the betterment ofworking professionals.
I have acquired Post Graduation in Business Administration which has been a great
value add for my career. It enabled me to garner a deeper understanding of important
topics like human resource management, principles and practices ofmanagement,
organizational behavior and business communication.
The training field had ahtays intrigued me; thus, I have entlusiastically worked towards
enhancing my knowledge and skills to establish myself in this field. Over the years I had
the oppo unity to further my interest in Adult Education especially in Adult l€arning
and Development. Post Citibank, I moved orer as a deputy manager - Icadership
Derelopment, to Serco Global Services where my role was to impart behavioural
training to the frontline and middle management. Furthermore, as a behavioural
consultant with I Train Consultants and Chrysalis I hare designed and delivered
workshops across multiple organizations and industries forAdults, I haYe designed,
delivered workshops and assessments on various topics like managerial effectiveness,
leadership skills, time management, problem solving, decision making, conflict
management, communication skills, preseltation skills, influencing skills, etc.

Now I have reached a point in my career wherein to attain my goal I need to enhance my
knowledge and skills. This qualification will enable me to realize my full potential and
reach my career goal.

The next crucial step that I have laid dorm is to take up this Masters in Adult Education.
This qualification will strengthen my skills, knou'ledge, broaden mJ, perspective and
shape me as a professional to be able to effectively guide every adult that engages $'iti
me to$?rds their set outcomes professionally or othen{ise.
