ABSTRACT
Title: 3 in 1 Bricks

Researcher: Joe Vincent M. Fernandez

Institution: Inosloban-Marawoy Integrated National High School

Year: 2018-2019

The research focuses on how 3 in1 Bricks can be an efficient material for building minimal

defects or other uses and for decorating houses. It discusses on how 3 in 1 Bricks can be another remedy

for lessening our waste. The purpose of this study is to lessen the potential waste in the environment by

producing bricks with those waste material like paper waste, plastic waste and plastic bottle waste.

The researcher tested the bricks with different grams of waste added into cement. First, bricks

with 25 grams of waste each – paper, plastic and plastic bottle and the brick mixed of all the waste with 25

grams. Second, bricks with 15 grams of each waste and the brick mixed with 15 grams of all the waste.

Third, 10 grams of waste each brick and the brick mixed with 10 grams of all the waste. In addition to that,

there are some tests like absorption test and Compressive strength test to ensure the durability of the 3 in 1

Bricks.

Based on the study, researchers found out that 3 in 1 Bricks has a favorable effect in our

environment and to our community as it lessens the garbage waste that we produce. It making this 3 in 1

Bricks, there are many benefits that people can gain – save money and can be a source of income. 3 in 1

Bricks is proven to be helpful and a good building material for houses.
