percentage, weighted mean, 4-point likert scale, and pearson correlation

coefficient.
Findings

Based on the research study, the following findings were arrived at:

1. Demographic Profile of the Students

1.1. Age- Out of 105 respondents, there are 56 respondents with a

percentage of 53% ages 15-17 years old, 47 students with a

percentage of 45%, ages 18-20 years old and 2 students with a

percentage of 2%, ages 21-23 years old.

1.2. Gender- There are 46 female respondents who participated in the

study with a percentage of 44% and there are 59 male respondents

with a percentage of 56%.

1.3. Section- There are 22 respondents with a percentage of 20% were

from Grade 12-HUMSS A, 28 respondents with a percentage of 27%

from Grade 12-HUMSS B and there 28 respondents with a

relationship between Authoritative Leadership Style and Delegative

Leadership Style to the group collaboration of students. The study

Recommendation

Based on the findings of the study, the researchers recommend,

For the students,

The students should schedule and balance their time of using social media

like Facebook in order not to affect much their study habits in school and at home.

They should always do review to their lessons discussed through the documents

or links sended by their teachers or through taking down notes and listening

attentively in class. They should avoid cramming and must have an optimistic

thinking for them to have a good performance in class. Group collaboration would

also help them to exchange information and knowledge that can be also a form of

study habit.

For the teachers,

The teachers should guide their students let them know why study habits

are important for them to study confidently as well as the balance use of Facebook.

They should also monitor their students’ behavior and class performance.

Furthermore, sending of files or documents and links through Facebook would be

also a great help to the students when they are not around.

For the parents,

The parents should also monitor the study habits of their children to

maintain their productivity in school such as complying to a certain task given by

their teachers and participating the class discussions. In addition, they should

monitor their children’s usage of Facebook in terms of posting, discussions to their

group chats, and also the balanced time of using it. They should give support to

their children to be motivated to study hard.

For the future researchers,

The future researchers should make further and concentrated research to

determine a more focused relationship and impact of using Facebook and study

habits using other variables than those used in the study.
