Operational Procedure:
Note: unplug from the outlet when not use, before putting on or taking off
parts, and before cleaning.

Step/ Procedure:

1. Wear your personal protective equipment

1. Check and observe the working area if there is no flammable that


can cause fire and make sure you have a fire distinguisher.
2. Check your welding machine make sure that the connection cable
was attached firmly and no damage.

3. Attached the ground cable to the welding table.


4. Turn on the machine.

properly laid out and functional? No cuts or splices in
flexible wires?

5. Are floor, walls, ceilings, windows and doors clean, neat,


without obstructions or unnecessary odor? All hinges
and locks functional? With exit plans?

6. Is the workshop well-ventilated and with enough


lightings?

7. Are the available receptacles for waste? Are the


materials properly segregated and disposed?

8. Is the workshop surroundings clean and cleared of


obstructions, no impounded water and with adequate
lights?

9. Is the rest room well-cleaned, dry and sanitized no


unacceptable odor and free from unnecessary objects
such as mops, rags, outdated signage, dangling objects?
Are the urinals, bowls, washbasins, walls and partitions
free from stains, dirt, oils, graffiti and unnecessary
objects? Is it equipped with adequate dipper and pails
and properly located after use? Are all water, drainage
and electrical systems functional?
10. Is the wash area clean, sanitized free from
unnecessary objects such as mops, rags? Are all water,
drainage and electrical system functional?

11. Is the tool room free of dust, with legible and visible
labels/ signage, log book and forms complete, in order &
updated? Tools with safety guards and in appropriate
positions/ locations?

12. Is the air conditioning equipment clean and


functional?

Remarks:

All the items are inspected and all pass the inspections. The tools,
equipment and materials that don’t function are all in the garbage can and
those items that can be recycled are separated. It is insured that all the
items inspected are okay and in a good working conditions and can be use
anytime damaged item are fixed.

well-secured/attached, no cracks? Properly labeled?
7. Is the equipment in A1 condition? Of not, was a report
prepared and submitted to authorized personnel?
Remarks:
All the items are inspected and it is all okay. Equipment are checked if it’s
mounted properly, the input power lead is fixed and don’t have any
damaged. The electrode holder clip is fixed and the plug to the power
source doesn’t have any damage. The adjustment lever’s amperage/speed
is all functional. All the electrical supplies, wirings and connection are
checked and all in a good working condition. Overall the equipment
maintenance inspection all the inspection items are in good working
conditions.
