Dear Ms. Caunan,

We are pleased to offer you the position of Associate Technical Specialist – SharePoint under Global IT
Shared Services of ECCL Singapore PTE. LTE – ROHQ (trading as SMEC Asia Pacific – ROHQ.). You will
undergo a six (6) month probationary period reckoned from your employment start date.

The following are the terms and conditions of our employment offer:

A. CASH REMUNERATION

• Gross base salary of Php 40,000.00 per month, subject to regular graduated income tax rate
• 13th month pay equivalent to 1/12 of annual gross base earnings, paid every last payroll of
December

B. BENEFITS

Benefits upon attainment of regular employment status

• Health insurance for employee


• Health insurance co-share plan for up to two (2) dependents subject to the company’s HMO
Dependents Program Guidelines
• Group life insurance equivalent to 24 times the employee’s monthly base pay
• Group accident insurance equivalent to 24 times the employee’s monthly base pay
• Fifteen (15) days vacation leave and Fifteen (15) days sick leave per annum

C. WORKING DAYS AND HOURS

Regular work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM. One (1) hour lunch break is provided
from 12-1PM with fifteen (15) minute break in the morning and in the afternoon. Work schedule can
change as assigned by your supervisor/ manager.

By signing this contract, you agree to comply with the submission of all the pre-employment
requirements set by SMEC ROHQ within a reasonable amount of time not exceeding three (3) months
from your official start date. You also agree to report for work on the agreed start date as indicated
in the job offer sheet. Failure to comply with foregoing conditions is a breach of contract which makes
you liable to reimburse SMEC ROHQ for all the associated costs related to your recruiting including
damages in an amount equivalent to the agreed one (1) month base salary. In addition, you will be
included in the recruitment blacklist wherein you will be denied employment in all SMEC offices and
partners/ joint ventures globally.
