GODDESS PARVATI – THE QUEEN OF HEAVEN

Love is the fortune of the fortunate. The abundance of love is the goal of all destiny. Fortunate are those whose
hearts flow in love. A loving heart, a heart full of love, is the precious essence of human life. And that, when it
flows in unbounded tidal waves of bliss, it is the glory of the supreme, the blessing of mother divine, and the
grace of God.

INTRODUCTION
For all those who are not familiar with Vedic Astrology-Jyotish, I have a piece of good news. This essay of
mine will not be connected with Jyotish so much, or perhaps not at all. Simply, the nature of this essay, which
by the way is unique and exceptional, but in another manner, is not asking for this option. Well, as usual, for
some people that can be good news, sort of relief actually, but for some perhaps not. Many people like to
learn and research in the field of Jyotish. Indeed, this is an amazing chance to learn something never seen
before. Researching on natal charts of ancient kings, queens, and spiritual leaders, well, even mentioning that
makes some thrill. Can you imagine that now we can find a very exact and precise minute when they were
born? All that is possible only due to such great progress and advance of science so that merging the two
disciplines, History and Vedic Astrology-Jyotish, gives such phenomenal results. History as part of Science is
very practical, pragmatic, logical, and it searches for material evidence. Some scientists even say … my
arguments are as strong as my evidence are …, what is right in some way. They would often add another
sentence as well. The evidence is as strong and powerful as its source is. Indeed, they, the scientists, they
need, they ask, and they always search for … material evidence. Fine, this is all right, they have an absolute
right to think that way. Nevertheless, we are on the threshold of the new paradigm, which will ask for a slight
change in thinking. We are just about to leave this old paradigm based on a materialistic understanding of the
world, where the matter was put on the throne, and where everything was explained by some very simple,
presumably mechanicistic understanding of the natural laws. This kind of paradigm was the product of the age
we are just leaving behind us, but which was described and labeled as the … age of ignorance. The new model
of the world, the new paradigm, is defined in terms of quantum mechanics, string theories, multi-dimensions,
in terms of parallel worlds and cyclic universes, and the omnipresent Ether-Akasha as the finest, the
primordial element of the entire Creation. Thus, to be honest, the new scientific paradigm will ask for more
kind of abstract thinking, and sometimes even the arguments and evidence will come on a more abstract
level.

However, as it is obvious, we all need to learn something. Apparently, scientists will need to learn they have a
new option. They have a new method of how to verify something about what was happening once upon a
time. This new method is not to compete with the existing one. This new system is entirely complementary. It
is just a new option, or just as the new value added on top of the existing one. Thus, material evidence, and
logical argumentation, that will still play a very important role; the main role in fact. However, it is much easier
to find material evidence and drive appropriate conclusions when you know where to search for something. I
think we should endorse such an option, even to rejoice it because this is something new that will definitely
change the way of how some scientific branches express themselves. We live in such a tremendously unique
time so that everything becomes possible. The field of all possibilities is in our domain. Even the proverb that
… only the Sky is a limit …, becomes old-fashioned and worn-out just like the old pants. This also belongs to
the old paradigm. The Sky, what is to say, the Heaven, was never a limit. On the contrary, this is the domain
where terms like, all-possibilities, immortality, omnipresence, almightiness, and many, many others similar,
are just very normal parts of everyday life. And for this, we do not need to go anywhere. We just recall a well-
known and very famous saying that the Kingdom of Heaven is within us …

THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS WITHIN YOU

AND WHOSOEVER SHALL KNOW HIS TRUE SELF, THE ATMA, SHALL FIND IT.

2
All those who are familiar with Jyotish will need to learn something besides as well. They will need to learn
about the incarnation lines of gods and goddesses.1 In this regard, we are actually entering one very esoteric
field completely unknown so far. Through my essays, it is coming out strikingly, that there is the entire niche
of the Vedic Astrology-Jyotish completely untouched in this modern era. Altogether, once upon a time, Vedic
Astrology-Jyotish was the true the foundation for all the life being lived in accord with Natural Law. We are
just about to unify all the knowledge branches again so that we have a holistic system where everything is in
and nothing is taken out or left behind.

For all those who do not know Vedic Astrology-Jyotish and are not familiar with it, well, my main message is to
start learning as soon as is possible. Knowledge has a purifying value. In fact, it is the stronger purifier known.
However, some are more talented than others are, and therefore, they will go faster and higher with this
learning. This does not matter actually, the most important thing is to remove the barrier that we cannot do
that, and that we do not need this. This is a very common thing actually, sort of prejudice; we make barriers of
all kinds. These barriers, first they are just mental projections, but soon, they become obstacles in our
personal life. I think we are not supposed to accept life as something defined, and something that will anchor
us in one place and one situation forever. Life is more like a river, The River of Life, we sometimes call it, and it
presumes everlasting changes, and it implies our tuning with these changes as well.

Along with all these considerations, according to my opinion, the worst option to choose is … to do nothing …,
and … to learn nothing. Indeed, such kind of attitude leads nowhere. It leads toward stagnation. We are at the
threshold point of big and monumental changes, and we need to tune with all that is coming up. Knowledge is
needed, it is essential, and it should be grasped, assimilated, and adopted in the maximally available measure.

I have been using Vedic Astrology-Jyotish in my essays very much. After all, this is how these essays came into
existence. It all started with research on the natal chart of Jesus, and with the cognition, that modern
sophisticated Jyotish software can reach as far as two-three thousand years back in time. Ever since many
essays have been produced. However, some very basic and elementary knowledge of Vedic Astrology-Jyotish
is very welcome to follow all these stories comfortably. Nevertheless, there is no tragedy if one is not familiar
with Jyotish. I always recommend, just read these texts like any other text, and just skip these parts where
Jyotish terms and points are mentioned. The basic leading idea is always a very certain, a very specific
historical event, and appropriate historical figure(s) so it is possible to follow the story even without knowing
the basic elements of Jyotish.

However, as I already mentioned within the very few first sentences, this essay will not lean on Jyotish. This is
the story about … Goddess Parvati, and how did she become the goddess, after all. As we are now entering
very deep in the field of describing who is who among gods and goddesses, I think it is time to present Parvati.
Therefore, the complete essay is devoted to that purpose only, even though much more time and space would
be needed to accomplish the entire mission definitely. This is what she deserves for sure, because, she is the
one playing the main role in so many stories. In so many important stories, better to say.

1 The term ... incarnation... and ... being incarnated..., just same as … reincarnation..., well all that is highly esoteric today, and not understandable to
all. However, this is the key phenomenon for understanding the spiritual world, and life in its entirety. The point is that life is actually very spiritual, and
if we remove this superficial layer of ignorance and the firm attachment to the material world, we will find out that life is highly esoteric as well. Once
upon a time, the teaching about incarnation and reincarnation was a normal part of everyday life. Then somehow, in the Age of Ignorance, somebody
put it out of order by decree. It was out of normal use, and put simply, the knowledge about was ... excommunicated. Reading and proper understanding
of all my texts presumes that the reader is familiar with these terms and that the knowledge and full understanding is developed about the nature of a
life where every individual is passing through innumerable incarnations just to be purified and perfected. This is not the basic intention of the Creator
himself, by the way, but it happens that sometimes evolution of ours can go this way. This is the foundation of the saying which somebody launched very
humoristically ... Only fools are dying. Thus, the fact is ... nobody is dying. However, this is all a very long story indeed. There are many adequate books,
scriptures, courses, etc, and therefore, it is easy to find all the basic information and to tune along appropriately. A good beginning could possibly be

GODDESS PARVATI, THE QUEEN OF HEAVEN

Well, indeed, there are many stories connected with Goddess Parvati. We definitely cannot cover
everything in this first and preliminary presentation. We also need to be careful with such stories, because
some of them tend not to be true. During the Dark Age, we were passing through, some stories had been
intentionally twisted and distorted in to hide the truth about Goddess Parvati what we also do understand
now as the game of Good and Evil. Thus, there will be a flood of false stories around, and a scarcity of true
ones. For me, it was also not easy to find a pure and undistorted story about Parvati. I am not saying that all
the parts of the story I am exposing are based on true values either. Nevertheless, this is the closest I could
come to the true source story about Parvati. I believe this is something plausible and very close to being true.
Besides, some parts are very difficult to be verified indeed. Consequently, perhaps it is best to take it just like
this, just like … a story.

I think the best would be to start with the story of how Parvati became a goddess. Thus, this is partially
referring to the time of the Creation before Parvati among gods. In fact, this is a story about a very early
Creation, when not all things were set up in full scale yet. If there is no Parvati yet in this story, that means
there is no Ganesha on the scene, and it is plausible to believe that some other very important gods and
goddesses were missing as well. I mean, it was not that they were missing entirely, simply, that was just a very
early stage of the evolution of our present Creation. Altogether, that was the time the Creation itself was
functioning a little bit differently compared to what we have today. Everything in the entire Creation has its
purpose, including gods and goddesses as well, and therefore, this early phase of the Creation itself was not
entirely the perfectly arranged place. The full arrangement was just about to be done.

As we know, she, the Parvati, is the celestial consort of God Shiva. This would be nothing unusual at all if only
we would not know who Shiva is. Shiva is the supreme god, and they call him … the Lord of the Universe. In
many Vedic texts, he is described as ascetic, prone to spend a long time in deep meditation on some hidden
places, along with monitoring carefully what is going on within the entire Creation itself. From Vedic literature,
we know that the entire Creation has begun with the drum and the dance of Shiva, as well as we know that
this is exactly how it will cease its existence. The entire Creation itself begins and dissolves with the dance of
Shiva. He was also described as the Lord of the Destruction, even though this term destruction we have to
take conditionally. First, we never consider … destruction force …, out from the Trinity … creation … evolution
… and … destruction. Destruction in this sense preferably means to disintegrate the previous stage, for
something new to be created and developed further on. Without it, without the destructive force in action,
the play we wanted to be played, is simply not possible. Another thing, when we mention the destruction and
the destructive force, we preferably mean on … destructing the Evil. Such kind of conclusion is very logical,
because, in some previous essays of mine, it was shown that Lord Shiva, together with his consort Parvati, are
staying firmly on the side of Good, on the side of Light. In this eternal play of Good and Evil, in Samudra
Manthan, along with the eternal churning of the ocean of milk to achieve amrita the immortality, Shiva and
Parvati, they are standing firmly on the Sura’s side. I am mentioning that fact because this is very important to
be known. However, this part of the story I am just about to narrate is referring to the point when Shiva and
Parvati were not together yet.

Therefore, at the time we are talking about, Shiva was loner, ascetic, sole, and almost like sworn not to marry
ever, just to live in celibacy by fulfilling the duty he was devoted so very much, on his eternal level of
existence, of course. All the Creation was his home, but he especially liked to dwell on the Kailas Mountain.
However, this mountain, even though the name itself might be familiar to many spiritual seekers, is not that
one in the Himalayas in India. Mountain Kailas does not even belong to this world. It is hidden between
dimensions and among worlds so that even if one would wish to find Shiva personally, and speak to him face-
to-face, well that would be just as mission impossible to achieve. Simply, that is not the mountain where one
can reach the very base by any transportation means, and then to climb up to the heights of the mountain
itself. One should have quite a knowledge and skills just to find it. However, these are basically spiritual
knowledge and spiritual skills. Actually, it is strongly based on the level of consciousness.

There on this mountain Kailas, which is much bigger and higher than Himalaya Mountain massive by the way,
somewhere high in altitude, there is a beautiful plateau oriented toward the true east, and completely
covered with green grass. The entire mountain is snowy and frozen, but this plateau of Shiva, well, this is a
somewhat little bit different, and it is covered with grass. However, even that grass has a thin layer of frost
over it, just enough to mix up the green color with a silver-tone. Snowflakes were flying all over daily, but just
sporadically, and never turning into permanent snowdrifts. For everybody else it would be pretty cold there,
but not for Shiva, of course. There is a wood log hut on this glade, and just there in front of, Shiva would
prostrate his tiger skin and would be sitting there in yoga posture by facing east in deep meditation for a long
time. Almost indefinite long time actually. His face would be covered with ashes, better to say, splotched with,
and that was giving him definitely some mystical look. His eyes were mostly closed, and rarely, only here and
there would he have opened them. His third eye was also closed, and that one would have been opened only
if somebody would come uninvited. For all intruders that came this way, uninvited, the opening of this third
eye would have meant only one thing. They would have been burnt instantly by the power of the light of truth
coming out from that eye. Whosoever dared to come so close to Shiva uninvited, to disturb him without a
reason and to interrupt him in his deep meditation, well, such intrusion did not last for a long. Thus, even
though he might look handsome and attractive, he was totally unavailable by his hidden place of dwelling, and
especially by his repelling attitude to have some feminine energy close to him. I mean, very close to him. Not
even as the faintest idea in fact.

Fine, this is all right, but where, and how on earth, the Parvati does come into this story?

The thing is, perhaps it is not time yet to expose the complete story. We need to know something about that
family itself. Shiva and Parvati have three kids, and it is apparent that they are considered gods as well. Gods,
and goddess, because, one is a daughter actually. Her name is … Kamala …, and she is the Goddess of Love. It
happened that she is the first-born, followed by two brothers of her, … Kartikeya called Skanda …, but also
known as … Subrahmanya or Murugan. He is the God of War.

The second brother of Kamala and the youngest of all three kids is … Ganesha. Everybody knows about
Ganesha because he is involved in the removal of obstacles for all living beings. Of course, if they, if we, follow
his instructions properly. He is the God of Good Fortune. He is very humorous by the way, and he enjoys
tricking people, but in his benevolent way, of course. This is his way of teaching actually. By the way, he is the
only among gods with an elephant head, and that is one reason people know about him very well. He is very
unusual, unconventional, he is very welcome at any party, in any situation after all, but how he got such head
this is yet another story, which we have to leave for some other time. His vehicle of transportation is Mushika,
the rat, but a very special one; he is actually the disguised former Gandharva Veda music performer. Ganesha
is gourmet par excellence, and the adventures of such kind that he is often involved in are legendary as well.

The complete family is very harmonious; however, there is no doubt about this fact, when we find out there
the supreme gods like Shiva and Parvati to be parents. Nevertheless, in the world ages with a lower level of
knowledge available, like Kali Yuga, for example, their roles and functions can be misinterpreted and mixed up
entirely. Shiva, who is also called Rudra, is seen as the Lord of the Universe and often depicted with very
certain symbols. We can always see … the damaru …, an ancient drum, attached to Shiva, by which he
announces the end of the creation and the beginning of the new one. They say it is the sound produced that
puts all the Creation into existence. He also has his … trident or trishula, which has multipurpose meaning.
The cobra is often seen with Shiva as well.

Interestingly, along with all contemporary depictions, including the entire field of modern iconography, only
Ganesha and Skanda were shown as the kids of Shiva and Parvati. The third kid, in fact, the first kid, their
daughter Kamala, is never shown. This is a very interesting situation indeed, however, later on, there will be
some discussion on this problem, and why is that so.

When being young, Parvati was a very ordinary girl. She grew up in a happy, harmonious, and highly
prosperous family, and since the very early days of her, it was apparent that she would be extraordinarily
beautiful. This is exactly what she became. Beauty par excellence! Young men of the highest ranks and
position in the entire kingdom would have come to ask for her hand. Even far beyond that, princes and kings
of distant kingdoms were coming as well, just to see this gorgeous young woman, and to try to convince her
father that exactly they are the right grooms for her. By knowing that she is very smart and intelligent and that
she will definitely know when exactly is the right time and who is the right one, her father did not make any
pressure on her. He left her heart to decide. Well, this is exactly how it did happen, her heart did decide, but
not entirely according to the scenario father would have wished to.

From very early days, just as she became aware of the world around her, Parvati was devoted to God Shiva. At
the very beginning, that was just like very usual devotion toward the supreme God, and just as the
appropriate respect that usually comes along with. However, as she was growing up to become a beautiful
girl, well, there was a strong transformation of that feeling. She would have been found repeating the name of
Shiva while sleeping and dreaming. Besides, she would have been taken by a strong and unusual fire while
thinking of him, and all of sudden she realized that she is in love with him. With Shiva. None else than Shiva!
At first, she did not tell anyone, but as these feelings were becoming more like an obsession of her, soon she
had cognized she had to talk about with someone. Her father was definitely not the one to talk with about,
because, he was very traditional and conservative. She knew the father would not understand anything.
Parvati did find the confidence to expose everything to her mother, and she did find shelter in her mother
9
who did understand her, but she did not support her in that what was going on deep within her. Mother knew
very well, if any individual comes close to any particular god, well, there is a big chance that the person will
need to leave this world. In all possible ways, the mother was trying to discourage Parvati from cherishing
such feelings.

An imagination of the artist. Shiva, Parvati, Skanda, and Ganesha. (Public Domain)-Pinterest

However, nothing could have doubted Parvati’s heart. In fact, something entirely opposite did happen; her
love toward Shiva became stronger and even more profound, and in a certain moment she had realized she
had to do something. Some action was needed, and she made a certain very concrete plan, which was thin by
the way, but that was the only thing she could have done. She was actually plotting a plan to visit Shiva
personally, and to expose everything directly to him, face to face, so to say. No matter what happens in the
aftermath, she was planning to do exactly this. She wanted to offer her love for Shiva. Nevertheless, she
needed help, and to find it, she visited the local temple of priestesses in that village itself. Such temples were
very usual about that time. Therein, specially trained young women would give knowledge about sacred
sexuality to young men. The love, feelings, and balancing the positive and negative forces within men was
highlighted, and all were having a very high spiritual background, where all participants rose higher in
consciousness. Sacred sexuality is a very spiritual discipline indeed. The main priestess had a daughter of
Parvati’s age, and her name was Kamala. She was amazingly beautiful, fully trained as the priestess, and she
was very famous for her gift that she could arise and initiate love in everyone. Even though she was still
young, there were many legends about her accomplishments. Fortunately, she was a friend of Parvati, and the
further situation developmant was going in her favor.

Kamala, when hearing the story, and after thinking carefully, she did expose her opinion to Parvati. She said
that she understands her point because she knows very well what the fire of love is, and she is going to help
her, irrespective of what will be the result. Kamala explained to Parvati that chances are minimal, but the wish
should be fulfilled, and to try something, whatever that is, well, this is something very welcome indeed. She
also mentioned they would need a lot of luck and good hope. This is how they did find themselves on the way
toward the Mountain Kailas deeply hidden between dimensions and parallel worlds.

10
Lead by Parvati’s high intuition, knowledge, and many other skills as well, but primarily by her love toward
Shiva himself, they did find that mountain finally, and then the moment of truth has come. The decisive
moment came thereafter they spotted Shiva sitting in the deep meditation on his tiger skin. The plan was very
simple actually. Kamala was supposed to approach Shiva first, possibly to make him curious and to fire a spark
in him, as she could have done with everyone after all, and then she would introduce Parvati. Well, to be
honest, the plan, just as all plans in general, as they are just our projections of what we want to achieve, but
how they will materialize, indeed, this is something entirely different.

An imagination of the artist. The Family of Shiva and Parvati, including their sons Skanda and Ganesha.

As Parvati stood behind a little bit hidden, Kamala approached the Shiva bravely. However, as soon she tried
to open her mouth to say and to explain why she, and they, after all, did come uninvited to visit him, Shiva’s
third eye opened instantly, and Kamala was burned and transformed into ashes. Parvati was shocked, of
course, and in her horror, she jumped out in front of Shiva, and by yelling at him, she tried to explain by
herself what the complete story is about, and why is she here together with Kamala. Actually, why Kamala was
here with her. She hardly made the first sentence, when she was burned by Shiva’s third eye as well.

This is how this first visitation to Shiva was conceived and initiated by Parvati, and being assisted by her very
good friend Kamala did finish. It finished in disaster. Nevertheless, as many would assume, this is not the end
of the story. Parvati was not discouraged. In her next life, Parvati did everything the same. She grew up again
to be an extraordinarily beautiful girl, having the same story reappeared by falling in love with Shiva, and she
carried the entirely same plan again. However, the result was the same. After the second try along with the
second life, they were both turned to the ashes. To make the story shorter, this scenario did repeat nine
times. However, there was some progress. Each time Parvati did come one step closer to Shiva, or, she was
able to say a few words more. Altogether, it repeated nine times like this, but each time Parvati did make
some progress, at least for one slight move forward or a few words more in trying to explain and express
herself fully. Nevertheless, she tried even the tenth time, and then, miraculously, something did happen a
different way. To be precise entirely, they did try, because each time Kamala was there as well to support her
and to assist her in coming closer to Shiva. The tenth time, Kamala was burnt as well, just the same way as it
did happen nine times before in a row, but then when Parvati came in front of Shiva, all of sudden he, Shiva,
11
started to talk with her. He was already curious enough, he wanted to know who is that enigmatic beauty who
is so stupidly stubborn and it is always coming with the same story.

Well, this is exactly where a very interesting conversion did start, and gradually and easily, easily and
gradually, Shiva was involved more and more. All of sudden he started to notice her beautiful feminine
attributes, what was driving in him the desire to enter deeper and deeper into the conversation. Then, when
seeing that Parvati is desperately in love with him and that he will not be successful to be read of her so easily,
he started with finding thousands of reasons to explain to her that this kind of relationship, where he is having
wife next to him, is simply not possible. Parvati readily answered and removed away all these shadows. At last,
Shiva came out with one very strong argument. He complained that she, the Parvati, would not be capable to
follow him on his endless missions throughout the entire Creation. Surprisingly, Parvati was ready even for
this challenge. She replayed that the strength and power of her love will always bring her there wherever
Shiva is. She even offered to prove and to demonstrate that. This is where their unbelievable game began.
Shiva was trying to hide in different corners of the Creation; however, Parvati was always finding him in the
fraction of the second. From the very beginning, this game was somewhat slow, but as Parvati was always
following strictly, Shiva did speed up his run around the Creation itself. Nevertheless, whatever he would have
done, she, Parvati, was responding appropriately, and he could not stay even a moment without her. He
increased the speed even further on, and who knows for how long this game of hiding and seek would have
been going on if other gods had not observed that the entire Creation is worming suddenly. Suddenly and
rapidly, in fact. They hurried up toward Shiva to see what is going on. Because, if anything like this is
happening, it would be Shiva responsible, and he would know the answer definitely, but the solution as well.
Unexpected and uncontrolled heating of the Creation itself can make very big problems. Factually, it can lead
to the destruction of the entire Creation.

Of course, Shiva was involved, even though no god, in particular, could have assumed that this is due to Shiva
falling in love. Because this is exactly what did happen with him while they were running around the entire
Creation. With every move of his, he was falling deeper and deeper in love with the beautiful young woman
named Parvati, who was responding so perfectly well to any move of his. When other gods finally did find
them, on that very same plateau where the game has begun, well, all that gods could have done is to accept
the Parvati among gods, because that was the only way to become the god and be between gods. All gods are
supposed to make a consensus about this point. Other gods were surprised, but very happy to see looks full of
love Parvati and Shiva were exchanging. All that they could have done after the ceremony of joining Shiva and
Parvati was to leave them in their happiness, and this is exactly what they did. They left Shiva and Parvati to
enjoy their days.

Nevertheless, this is not the end of the story. When gods were on their way out of the domain of the hidden
Kailas Mountain, by their shocking surprise, they cognized that the entire Creation is warming up again.
However, this time they knew what is the reason. They knew that Shiva and Parvati are just consumed by the
fire of love.

Well, for how long Shiva and Parvati stayed in ecstasy it is not known. However, as we know that the Creation
itself did not break down, it seems they had a measure. Apparently, they knew when it is time to take control
of the Creation for not to be overheated. As it also seems, since that moment, Shiva is not alone anymore, and
the Creation itself has its own Mother Nature. This is Parvati.

As soon as they, Shiva and Parvati, had returned to the reality of everyday life, they started to arrange things
on their way. Many changes were supposed to be adopted and implemented, and there was a huge job in
front of them. One of the first things they did, they arranged that Parvati’s so loyal friend Kamala, well, they
arranged for her to come back as their first-born child, the daughter Kamala. For her incredible contribution
by sacrificing her life ten times to help Parvati, they reworded her now to become the Goddess. Due to the
reason that she was so skillful in the job what she was doing, Kamala was given exactly this domain to take
care of … the Domain of Love. This is how Kamala became … the Goddess of Love and Passion.

12
CONCLUSION

Well, soon after hearing, one would possibly immediately start to think of how much truth there is
contained in the mentioned story. This is a good question, indeed. I do not know what to say. The answer to
this question is not a one-way story. Therefore, instead of concluding something inappropriate, like guessing
something, for example, we can contemplate this question a little bit.

To make things eeven more complex, there are different versions of this story. In some versions, it was said
that Parvati is the second wife of Shiva. According to this version, his first wife was Sati, but she departed, she
died due to some reason. They said that Sati was an incarnation of Shakti, the divine feminine element in
Nature. Shiva was devastated, and accordingly, for some time he was confused and did not know what to do.
The story also has it that with losing Sati, Shiva also lost his power to administrate the Creation itself, and the
chaos came as the result. This is where Parvati came to restore Shiva’s power, as the incarnation of Shakti
again.

Well, if you open the Wikipedia page on Shiva and Parvati, you will find exactly this story as a valid and actual
one. To be honest, I do not think this is an entirely true story. It depicts Shiva as confused, dependent,
powerless, and not capable of doing things, which is very difficult to believe. Firstly, even the fact that the
wife, the consort, of the supreme god, of the Lord of the Universe, is dying, well, this fact by itself is very
controversial. What kind of God this is if his celestial consort dies? It was exactly this doubt to be implied by
this story. The doubt that Shiva is weak and of ill fate. Besides, in this variation of the story, Shiva is advised by
the so-called “God Kama” and his two consorts of what to do and how to do. At this point, we already see
another swindle because the Goddess Kamala was carefully removed out from the story. The feminine deity,
Goddess Kamala, all of sudden was transformed into a masculine deity, God Kama. This is the reason why she
was driven out from all portraits, and Shiva and Parvati were shown with two kids only … Skanda and
Ganesha. Only sometimes, here and there, we can find mentioning the daughter of theirs, but with an entirely
different name. We can see and understand this deviation as the intentional framing, the struggle of Good and
Evil, where feminine energy was neglected and the mail energy was highlighted all of sudden. It is very easy to
imagine who could possibly have done such frauds. According to my opinion, Goddess Kali, also known as
Goddess Durga, is the only candidate. We do know who wanted God Shiva powerless and Goddess Parvati
deprived of her status and rights as the Queen of Heaven, don’t we? Therefore, this story is becoming so
transparent now. This is classical fraud and trick of Kali to undermine Shiva and Parvati. I am so happy that this
is deciphered now, and I hope it will be corrected soon in all books end texts inclined to be labeled as Vedic.

Thus, one should be careful about what is the source of the story. My contact with this story, the first and the
only one, came through the Croatian Author … Adrian Predrag Kezele …, along with his books covering mainly
exactly such true Vedic stories. He wrote a huge number of books with the highest spirituality as the main
topic, where this highest spirituality is being merged and integrated into everyday life. The only thing, the
mentioned story of how Shiva and Parvati came together, was exposed as the first person narrative. It was
given out in a way that presumes he has heard the story from the Ganesha personally. I do not know …
However, it is possible … Everything is possible … I tried my best to retell the story but was significantly
shortened.

Technically speaking, when could this story have happened? I mean, when possible this merging of Shiva and
Parvati could take place? Well, according to my opinion, that could have been only during the first
Manvantara of our Universe. The Manvantara is the life span of the Universe, from its birth in the Bing Bang,
all until the collapse in the Big Crunch. There are 14 Manvantaras during the lifetime of the Creation. Now we
are in the seventh Manvantara. This is to say, when the story of Shiva and Parvati took place in the first

13
Manvantara, the Creation itself was still young, and not all things have been arranged appropriately. It could
be that Parvati is actually an incarnation of Shakti; this I do not intend to deny. After all, Parvati is also
sometimes called exactly this way … Shakti. She is also called … Uma.

This is telling us that throughout the avataric incarnations of many different devatas, such stories could be
transmitted from one Manvantara to another one or from one universe to another, or even to the parallel
worlds. These stories are extremely important. They have an educational and motivational purpose. As being
such, they were carefully adopted and integrated into the knowledge system of the Vedic Civilization. The
story of how Parvati joined Shiva is the classical story about eternal, unlimited, and unconditional love. It is
talking about the magnificence and the glory of love as the strongest moving force in nature. Even today, we
have a big discussion of which force in nature is the strongest one, whether this is a nuclear force,
gravitational force, or maybe electromagnetic force. However, it is almost like being forgotten entirely that
the power of love is the strongest force among all. There are no obstacles or barriers of any kind, which this
force, the force of love, cannot transcend. Thus, transmitting the knowledge throughout ages and all around
the Creation itself, including such an eternal story about the power of love, well, this is very essential, and it is
not left to go an accidental way. Many devatas are involved in transmitting such stories. There are lineages for
that purpose established. Some of these lineages I already mentioned along with my essays. Factually, the
stories like this one of how Shiva and Parvati came together should be understood as the part of Genesis itself.
The Vedic Genesis, of course.

Therefore, Goddess Parvati is the first and the only wife of God Shiva. According to my knowledge, Shiva is
very happy with Parvati, and he does not mean to change anything in this regard. Parvati never did depart
neither is she planning to. I mean, as far as I know. Thus, Parvati is forever. It is true, for some, the story of
Shiva and Parvati could possibly sound strange and distant. However, just want to remind, we are very familiar
with Goddess Parvati because we saw her in action along with many situations throughout history. She was
known in every culture, by the way, and we can mention just some of them. We know her as the Inanna-Ishtar
from the Sumerian, Akkadian, and Babylonian cultures. We know her as Egyptian Goddess Nuit, and as Athena
in the Greek culture. We know her as Andromache in the true story of Troy, the first and the only post-Vedic
culture in Europe. We know her as Goddess Minerva within the Roman culture as well. Apparently, she has
strong reasons to be around, and that is why she has her lineage established as well. She was actively building
up every culture and her contribution is invaluable. Nevertheless, due to the Dark Age, such kind of mission
was not an easy job sometimes, basically due to the repression of some dark and murky creatures. However,
this time is over now, we are leaving all such shadows behind us, and there is light all over, beautiful
enlightening light of the new Age of Enlightenment. The pendulum of time has swung toward the side of
Good, and it is time to rejoice good vibrations only. I guess all that now will be much easier for Parvati, and I
hope we shall see her again and more often after all. Most probably, in some new missions of her, just to
introduce the Good needed so very much at this moment. Indeed, we need her so very much to bless the
world with her knowledge and with her wisdom.

By the way, we have a nice celebration day soon. There is a Summer Solstice coming tomorrow, on June 21,
2019, at 5.54 PM CEST (Central European Summer Time). I wish a happy and prosperous summer for all …
