Tests : The meters as specified in annex 2 were tested for compliance with the
standards as specified on page 1 of this test report. The performed tests
are stated in annex 1. If applicable specific test conditions are stated at
each test.
Results See annex 1 of this test report. The meter fulfils the general requirements
of the IEC 62052-11, and the requirements for class 0,5S of the IEC 62053-
22 as well as the requirements for class 2 of the IEC 62053-23 for all
performed tests.
The meter fulfils the general requirements of the EN 50470-1 [2006], and
the requirements for class C of the EN 50470-3 [2006] for all performed
tests.
Traceability : The measurements have been executed using standards for which the
traceability to (inter)national standards has been demonstrated
towards the RvA.
The test data as presented in the annex 3 of this test report is performed
under RvA accreditation with reference number L029, in which
conformity to ISO/IEC 17025 has been demonstrated.
The data as presented in the annexes 1 and 2 gives extra
information.

Remark: The measurements are performed at a reference temperature of 23±2 °C, unless an
other temperature is stated.
*) Tests have been performed due to a new microprocessor, a new measuring sensor chip, the
increase of the voltage range, new auxiliary boards and a new software version. For the tests
which are not performed, as indicated in annex 1, a reference can be made to the previous
investigations with the ZMG300/400 meters, as presented in the test reports CVN-606280-11,
CVN-606280-12, CVN-708746-01 and CVN-811364-01 granted by NMi.

Remarks:The results as mentioned in this test report relate only to the meters which are tested.
The above mentioned characteristics were stated on the watthour meters under test and
are required by the IEC documents.
However, according to the Annex MI-003 of the MID and the EN 50470 documents,
other parameters are used to define the meter characteristics. Therefore in addition
the following characteristics are used during the investigation:
- Itr : 0,1 * In
- Imin : 0,2 * Itr ( = 0,01 * In )
- Ist : 0,02 * Itr ( = 0,001 * In )
Several tests are performed to show compliance with both the IEC documents and
EN 50470 documents, as indicated in Annex 1. For those tests mainly the terminology
as indicated in the IEC documents is used. The above mentioned values for Itr, Imin and
Ist can be used for a cross reference between the two different kind of terminologies.

During the test the current was 50% of In, power factor 1, with symmetrical load.
Before and after the test the error of indication is measured at nominal current.
The change of the error of indication at nominal current due to the earth fault test was
negligible.
Remark: Before the measurements were started, the voltage was connected for at least one hour
and a current of Itr was running through the meters.

Test: Repeatability
The accuracy measurements at reference conditions are performed 3 times in order
to determine the repeatability, while using the test points as indicated in table 13
of the EN 50470-3 document.
with:
- e (I , cos ϕ ) = the intrinsic error of the meter at a certain load;
- δ e (T, I , cos ϕ ) = the additional percentage error due to the variation of the
temperature at the same load;
- δ e(U, I , cos ϕ ) = the additional percentage error due to the variation of the voltage
at the same load;
- δ e(f, I, cos ϕ ) = the additional percentage error due to the variation of the
frequency at the same load.
