Pick one of your favorite

Get in a group of 3 students
and create 3 Haiku poems.
Each student should write 1
line per poem. All lines should
be related/make sense. Then
draw images around the
poems to represent the
meaning if your haikus.
Create a “Blackout” poem (use
a page from an old book or
print a page from the internet)
You can make it a work of art
by drawing on the words
instead of blacking them out

it into a newspaper article. You
may write as if the persona of
the poem was an “eye-
witness” of the events in the
poem. Make a posterboard
with your article and a
creattive title that relates to
the poem.
