SCOTT BAILEY

Curriculum Vitae

INTRODUCTION An educational leader works to create conditions in which all children can define and reach success in their
learning. For me, this begins with listening to understand and then working to provide the supports needed by
teachers, support staff, parents and the community to reach every student. My experience working with both
grade school students and pre-service teachers has reinforced the importance of being grounded in evidence-
based resources and pedagogy to design authentic and engaging learning experiences. Quality teaching challenges
and develops students' thinking, communication and citizenship competencies. I seek further opportunities for
leadership within a school community to advance innovative teaching and learning that enables students, staff
and communities to be successful, healthy, active and well. I hope to foster strong and respectful connections to
the lands on which we are so fortunate to live, learn and work.
