Our barrel roof tiles are the most traditional and versatile type, as their design allows for different
types of overlaps.

Clearly different from our Spanish S roof tiles offer a wide range of advantages, which include their
easy assembly and adaptability to conventional roof tile support systems.

Our flat roof tiles stand out for their simple design, and like our S roof tiles, their easy installation.
First Spanish tile validated as grade 1 by any certified lab in USA.

Verea System: our roof installation system

The extraordinary quality of our roof tiles, combined with the most advanced installation system
– Verea System – provides all our customers the very highest guarantee.

The Verea System is an installation system that is officially approved by the Spanish government
and Miami Dade County in the USA, which is specially designed to increase the lifespan of the roof.

Verea: all of the special roof parts and accessories

For its three roof tile formats, Verea also offers a series of special parts that provide solutions for all
of the unique parts of a roof. In addition to these special parts is a range of assembly accessories,
required to ensure the correct installation of the roof using the Verea System.

The combination of a high-quality roof tile and a correct installation system guarantee a
roof that is capable of withstanding rigorous climatic conditions, and which adapts to any
type of construction style.

Verea was the first Spanish factory to be certified according to the new European rules
about frost resistence (UNE EN 539-2 method E), which classifies ceramic roof tiles in
three different quality levels: level 1 (tiles that exceed 30 freeze-thaw cycles), level 2
(tiles that exceed 90 freeze-thaw cycles), Level 3 (roof tiles that exceed more than 150
freeze-thaw cycles).

All clay roof tiles manufactured by Verea, in addition to being classified as Level 3 (the highest level established by
the new European legislation), are specially designed to withstand the toughest weather conditions, exceeding
more than 500 freeze-thaw cycles under the new European testing method (conducted at external laboratories
certified by AENOR).

Under the new European legislation, the Frost Resistance test is also used to determine the durability of clay roof
tiles. In other words, the higher the Frost Resistance, the greater the durability of the roof tiles.

Regardless of the climate zone where it is installed, Verea roof tiles offer a guarantee to even the most demanding
customers.

The most advanced techniques are used during their manufacturing process in order to ensure the optimum protection
of the environment, such as using recycled raw materials, firing with natural gas, making use of the energy from the
hot air moving from the kiln towards the dryer, or integral computerised control of the production process.

Verea system
The sign of quality and easy installation

As a result of the experience of Verea as a clay roof tile manufacturer and of its installation
companies, a construction system has been officially authorized in accordance with the
Spanish Technical Building Code and the technical requirements of Miami Dade County in NOA# 13-0327.02
the USA, whose specifications are included in the corresponding Technical Approval
Documents in Spain (DIT No.483/R, No.561/10 & No.590/12) and the USA
(NOA#13.0327.02).

These construction solutions represent a major step forward in roof construction, increasing the
performance of the roof and the durability of its components, without increasing installation costs.

As a sign of a job well done, Verea offers a hallmark of quality in roof installation, endorsing an
officially recognized, high-quality construction system: Verea System.
