Position Description:

We are looking for a Senior Inspector to join Wasit Gas Plant Department (WGPD).

WGP was brought on stream in 2016. The plant current processing capacity is 2.66 billion standard
cubic feet per day (BSCFD) of non-associated gas. The plant products are Ethane, propane, butane
and Natural Gasoline (NG).

The inspector will perform the full range of inspection activities in one or more of the inspection
disciplines

Minimum Requirements:

As a successful candidate you will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

You will have a minimum of five (5) years or more of experience.

You will have strong knowledge in piping, Equipment and welding.

You will have Quality Management System registered/certified auditor (IRCA/RABQSA) or ISO
9001:2008 Lead Auditor Course or equivalent.

Required Certificates:

Coating inspector – Level 2 Certification

CSWIP-BGAS Grade-1 Certification

NACE 2 Certification

SSPC 2 as Equivalent to level II


CSWIP 3.1 or CWI/AWS Certification

API 570, 510, 653 Certification

Duties & Responsibilities:

You will be required to perform the following:

Monitor non-destructive testing examination results to determine defects, corrosion, mechanical


damage, or blockages and makes recommendations for repairs or replacement as required.

Perform or monitors all types of equipment inspection

Perform or monitors all tests and inspections on equipment that has been repaired or modified to
assure that the equipment meets the manufacturers

Perform or monitors all necessary inspections for the installation of hot tap, weld plus ends repair
sleeves, or any welding that is required on piping or equipment while in service.

Monitor heat treatment of piping, vessels, and equipment.

Witness hydrostatic and/or pneumatic tests on static equipment which includes the review of
Hydrostatic, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams as well a Safety Instruction Sheets to assure that the
correct pressure is used, the system is isolated properly and that relief valves are properly set and
installed.

Perform welder performance and welding procedure qualification records reviews

Monitor all aspects of welding operation on new or existing equipment

Evaluate equipment for fitness for service based on API 510 criteria.

Assist in Risk Based Inspection Assessments by providing required data or facilitating assessments
