A SEMI DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN ENGLISH-10

K- Describe the picture shown.


S- Explain the DO’s and DON’T’s when conducting an interview through group activity.
A-Show the importance of learning the tips in conducting an interview through role
playing

III. PROCEDURE

A. Preparation
 Prayer
 Greetings
 Checking of attendance
 Motivation
 Ask the learners to describe the pictures

Ask the students the following questions


1. What can you say about the pictures?
2. What they are doing?
3. What is an interview?
4. Did you experience interviewing someone?
5. What did you feel? Share it to the class.

 Let the learner/s share his/her experiences

B. Presentation

The teacher will group the students into two.

Group 1: Explain the DON’Ts when conducting an interview.


Group 2: Explain the DO’s when conducting an interview.

After five minutes’ representative from group 1 will come in front and give the
DON’Ts in conducting an interview.

 After discussing the group 1, the teacher will validate their answers.

(same with group 2)

C. Practice

o The teacher will group the students into five

Role playing: Create a role play within your group. Interview the following
persons applying the tips in conducting an interview. Video tape your interview

Group 1: School head


Group 2: Nurse
Group 3: Businessman
Group 4: Engineer
