Student Experience

“From floating in the Dead Sea to visiting holy

sites in Nazareth and Bethlehem, I had an
incredible experience in Jerusalem. All of these
exciting and special moments taught me a lot
about religion and world conflict. Most of all,
I learned a lot about myself and was able to
gain a new perspective. It was a great learning
opportunity for me and I want to share my new
knowledge with the world.

I encourage others to be open-

minded and explore the world
as much as you can.”

INTERNSHIPS
Internships provide a deeper,
immersive experience in your host
country’s culture. Many study
abroad programs include this
option at various small and large
local organizations.

RESEARCH
Do you want to jump-start your
senior thesis or conduct research
while abroad? Ask your advisers
how you can access local resources,
archives, and other research
materials in your host country.

SERVICE
Students participate in a wide variety of
community engagement opportunities in
almost every program location. Service
opportunities with local organizations provide
a more holistic study abroad experience.

AM I ELIGIBLE?
Academic standing and adherence to community
standards are among the factors for eligibility, as is
program appropriateness for your academic goals.

HOW MUCH
WILL IT COST?
Tuition, room, worldwide health insurance, and living
allowance are covered for most semester and full-year
programs. Students are responsible for a study abroad
fee and round-trip airfare to program locations. Charges
vary for summer programs and those taken during
vacation periods.
