Goal of the report

The goal of this field report is to deliberately know what are the experiences, everyday lifestyle of ECE
Engineers facing their work as their livelihood. As well as thoughts of their work and why they chose
their respective field and position.

II. Summary of Observation

We find the participant very curious about his respective field. He said that he was dirst interested in the
subject related to ECE back in high school when he was taking up Electronics and had to make a "Parol"
or a kind of design typically in Christmas season. He said that it's the first time he saw interest in such
course. The participant is working as a Network Engineer Which was a related topic in what the
participan's taking up in college which intwrests the participant more. The participant also stated that
the said work is also a dream job for him.The participant is working in a foreign company and having
trouble expressing himself, sharing his thoughts on his fellow workers due to language barrier. The
participant for his opinion prefer a company of a Filipino native so that he could experess his ideas more
and share knowledge with others without having trouble communicating with them. The participant is
known for working fast and making minimal errors and he is also great at analytical r Ed lated things due
to the nature of his work.

C.Overview

For observation- the participant is currently just graduated ECE Engineering back in May 2017 in Central
Colleges of the Philippines and is currently working at a foreign company as a Network Engineer for the
last eleven months starting on November of 2017.

For Field Experience- The participant is currently working as a Network Engineer in a foreign company
wherein having a language barrier between his co-workers. He is working as an Analytic Network
Engineer mainly focusing on the flow of the network, diagram for it, and the problems of creating the
network itself. The participant stated that he worked there back in November 2017 up to now, meaning
eleven months he was working as a Network Engineer.

II. Description

We observed that the participant is great at his work. Having a language barrier in a working
environment is never easy but nevertheless he still keeps on performing and providing great consent and
knowledge to the company he works for. The strove for him to be great at work beside the huge problem
he has today, he can still provide and work for eleven months as a Network Engineer.

A. The participant is a Network Engineer graduated back in May of 2017, he is about around his early or
mid 20's, seems to be tall, a Filipino, having long hair and a healthy body as observed.
B. The work of the participant is a Network Engineer, which deals of Analytically building a diagram
about a flow of a Network, and problems they will encounter building it. The participant worked for
eleven months as a Network Engineer. Network Engineer is related to ECE which is Electronics
Communication Engineering wherein he graduated as.

III. Lessons Learned

A. We learned a lot to this observation. Each and one of us have different view to what courses is more
harder than the other. But we observed that being a professional is not easy, everyday tackling new set
of ideas and everyone is expecting you could deliver, it's not easy. But we learned how to value
education and for them valuing passing the board exams as a professional is an achievement for us it will
be the goal and the mindset that we will partake to continue out respective field positions we wanted in
the first place. We learned to value what we have, and nevee discriminate any other who has a higher
position or lower position because all of them sacrificed their lives for the position they yearned for.

B. It affected on how we see professionals in a certain view. We see now that professionals put in a lot of
work and sacrifice and strangely we don't see that, we only see that the course itself was hard. It
affected on how we view the professionals nowadays who are really working and striving for the
opporunity to work at their own terms.

IV. Conclusions and Reccomendations

We conclude that professionals today is facing a lot of pressuee but if they like and it's their passion to
work for. They will find a way to conquer the problems and continue their dream jobs and grab
opportunities as such. We find that working and studying is really not easy it's full o ft hardwork and
sacrifices and we have to appreciate the professionals who worked their whole lives to the point of
getting to their resprctive positions today. We reccomend to interview more professionals to learned
more about their professions and their hardships. We reccomend to take part in respecting and
appreciate the professionals for their hardwork and providing us with their knowledge and guidance
throughout our lives.
