Interview
(Rachael)
Logan’s
day
starts
off
with
him
crawling
into
bed
with
his
parents
at
4
a.m.
His
parents
do
not
mind
this.
He
will
sleep
until
about
7:30.
He
usually
wanders
around
the
house
and
watches
Paw
patrol
or
plays
with
his
toys
as
his
mother
helps
her
other
children
get
ready
for
school.
He
has
about
one
hour
of
playtime
with
his
mother
in
the
morning
doing
imaginary
play
or
reading
books.
At
10:00
he
might
eat
some
breakfast
although
he
is
not
a
huge
fan
of
food.
He
will
eat
bacon
or
waffles,
cold
cereal
or
toast,
little
cesars
and
graham
crackers.
This
is
a
concern
of
his
mothers,
but
he
is
working
on
it
in
OT
right
now.
After
his
play
time
he
will
take
a
bath
as
his
mother
gets
ready.
He
is
able
to
dress
himself,
though
occasionally
he
will
put
his
underwear
on
backwards.
He
doesn’t
usually
eat
lunch.
Logan
is
also
potty
trained
mostly.
HIs
mother
reported
that
he
never
has
accidents
but
that
he
is
afraid
of
poop.
When
he
does
need
to,
he
will
lock
himself
in
his
room,
put
a
pull-‐up
on,
use
the
restroom
and
then
walk
to
his
mother
with
a
wipe
in
his
hand.
At
this
point
she
is
not
concerned
with
it.
At
2:00
he
has
preschool.
On
the
way
to
preschool,
Logan
will
drink
a
bottle
of
pediasure.
After
his
mother
picks
him
up
from
school,
they
will
usually
run
errands.HIs
mother
reported
that
if
they
are
quick
errands,
Logan
will
do
fine,
but
if
they
are
longer
he
can
get
upset
unless
he
has
a
toy
to
play
with.
She
reported
that
Logan
does
not
have
problems
in
the
car,
and
will
often
point
our
things
as
they
drive.
At
different
times
during
the
week
Logan
also
has
Occupational
Therapy
and
Speech
therapy.
When
they
get
home,
Logan
will
eat
something,
which
often
is
pizza.
At
3:40
his
brothers
get
home
from
school
and
he
will
play
with
them
or
with
his
friend
Lacy.
Lacy
is
a
little
girl
his
sister
watches
who
has
down-‐syndrome.
They
will
play
puppets,
tea
parties
and
hiding
games
under
the
stairs.
At
6
p.m.
his
family
will
eat
dinner,
but
he
won’t
sit
or
eat
with
them.
During
this
time
Logan
will
watch
movies
such
as
starwars,
or
dress
us
in
costumes.
He
also
likes
to
organize
toys
in
his
room.
Logan
will
have
a
bedtime
snack
between
7-‐8.
At
8
or
8:30
the
bedtime
routine
will
begin.
He
sleeps
in
his
underwear
because
he
does
not
like
the
feeling
of
his
clothes.
His
mother
will
sit
in
his
bed
and
read
stories
to
him.
She
will
then
lay
in
his
bed
until
he
falls
asleep
and
then
sneak
out.
Logan’s
mother
reported
that
he
likes
trains,
airplanes,
transformers,
superheroes
and
watching
others
build
legos.
Regarding
her
concerns
she
spoke
of
how
is
can
be
hard
to
engage
with
him
and
switch
and
do
what
he
want
you
to
do.
She
brought
up
that
herself
and
her
family
initiate
more
than
Logan
does
although
he
does
initiate
sometimes.
One
of
the
hardest
things
for
her
is
communicating
with
Logan,
specifically
that
he
does
often
answer
her
questions.
She
brought
up
that
she
would
love
for
Logan
to
sit
and
eat
dinner
with
the
family
and
maybe
even
sit
through
sacrament
meeting
at
church.
The
biggest
outcomes
or
goals
that
are
most
important
to
her
involve
his
eating,
which
his
OT
is
working
on
currently,
speech
and
comprehension,
answering
questions
and
attention
span.
She
also
did
bring
up
that
sometimes
he
hits
or
bites
when
he
is
really
upset,
although
she
reported
that
it
has
occured
a
lot
less
than
it
used
to.
This
was
a
concern
but
she
reported
that
it
was
less
of
a
concern
than
the
other
items
listed.
