Q.1)What do you mean by computer accessibility?Expalin following keys:
Sound sentry,Sticky,Toggle,Filterkeys and Mouse keys.
Ans:-- Computer accessibility means customizing the functioning of the computer parts according to need of people
with disability or impairment,so that they can perform or complete their work without facing any problems.
*Sound sentry:--It is designed to help users with auditory impairments.It generates visual warnings such as blinking
title bar or flashing border whenever computer generates a sound.
* Stickey keys –It is designed to help users with physical disabilities.It allows the user to press and release modifier
keys (like shift,ctrl or windows key)and make it active until any other key is pressed. It reduces the repetitive
strain.
*Toggle keys—Toggle kays are designed for people who have vision impairment. When toggle key is turned on
computer emits sound cues for the keys like caps lock,num lock or scroll lock.
*Filter keys:-- Serial Keys is an accessibility feature that assists people that have difficulty using a keyboardor a
mouse (or both). they can use special devices such as Sip, Puff and Breath Switches to provide input to the computer
through Serial Ports.
For example,sipping on the tube activates one device, while puffing on the same tube activates another.

*Mouse Keys:--It is an accessibility feature that assists people who have difficulty using a mouse. This option uses
keyboard (especially numeric keypad) as a pointing device instead of a mouse.

Q.2) a)Explain peer to peer and client server network architecture .b)Explain three types of
networks.
ans. a. Peer to Peer – These networks have computers which are equal in terms of their local resources & each can
work as a server & a client when required. Only simple setup & administration is required. Generally in such a network
each terminal has an equally competent CPU.

Ans:-- 1)A local area network (LAN) is one which connects computers and devices in a limited geographical area such
as home, school, computer laboratory ,office building,or closely positioned group of buildings.

Usually local area networks offer very high speeds and are used for connecting computers and peripherals such as
printers, scanners, etc.Area covered by this network is 0 to 10 km.

2) A Metropolitan area network (MAN) is designed for a town or city. In terms of geographic breadth, MANs are larger
than local-area networks (LANs), but smaller than wide-area networks (WANs).It offers centralized management of
data. It enables you to connect many fast LANs together. Area covered by this network is 10 to 50 km

3) A wide area network (WAN) is one which covers a broad area (i.e., any network that links across metropolitan,
regional, or national boundaries).The internet is the most popular WAN, and is used by businesses, governments,
non-profit organizations, individual consumers, artists, entertainers and many others.

Ans:-- Blog: This term refers online diary used to create personal web pages by technical/non-technical users to
share views, ideas etc. You can use a blog to convey messages about events, announcements, news, reviews, etc.
Blogs are usually managed using a web browser and this requires active internet connection.
