SECTION 1D

Highlighted in red are the potential questions I could explore. In purple are some
possible answers to these questions. I have also included the links of all the websites
that inspired me in this initial task.

CHEERLEADING
Is cheerleading a sport? An art?
Is cheerleading too expensive? Varsity has a monopoly on the sport, and they only
care about getting profit.
Why is cheerleading still not considered a sport? (Argument: it requires little artistic
ability and a great amount of physical fitness)
Is cheerleading an art? (Argument: judging is subjective, no such thing as a perfect
routine, choreography is based on aesthetics and innovation).

WRITING
Why don’t people read poetry anymore/ is literature a dying art form? There is
elitism and nepotism in the industry. OR it is not dead, just re-imagined (for example
spoken word is the ‘updated’ form of written poetry).
Is it still possible to make a living as a writer?
