How to install HASP MultiKey USB Dongle Emulator on Windows 7 64 bit

Hello everyone, yesterday my friend asked me to help him to eliminate a HASP dongle from his PC. His PC was installed Strand7 and it needs a USB dongle which has typ
HASP to work exactly. I accepted his request to help him. I noticed that his PC was installed Windows 7 64 bit Professional.
I searched on Internet and read many web pages regarding dongle emulator. I found a emulator named EDGEHASP2007 but unfortunately it didn't work on Windows 7 64
Then, I continued searching on Internet and I found HASPHL2010 but it is not free so I didn't try it. I thought I will give up but I still hope I can find a free emulator. Fortunate

install your software on Windows XP 32 bit after which you must use some tools to dump HASP key and create registry file. Because I didn't have Windows XP I cannot fol
method. I searched on Internet again and I found this tool [Universal HASP SRM / HL / 4 / Hardlock Dongle Dumper v.1.3]. It can dump HASP key and create registry file fo
altogether. It's a awesome tool made by rengteam. Great thanks to rengteam. Finally, I managed to install MultiKey USB Dongle Emulator.
Now, I want to write some steps here:
Note: I cloned successfully all types of dongles with MultiKey Emulator. The most important step is that you must generate exact registry file. If you have any problem, plea
a comment.
1. Download necessary tools

For dongle Sentinel SuperPro/UltraPro, please download this additional tool https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bwv-LAG1rD9ZU1JqNy1XOHEyTXM/view?usp=sharing
2. Get dongle password

If your dongle type is Sentinel SuperPro/UltraPro, please skip this step!
The following steps are original here http://www.dongleservice.com/emulate-hasp.phtml, please follow them to get your dongle password. In my case, dongle password
is 725F:583A
Start dumper
Run HASPHL2010.exe on machine that has latest version of Aladdin HASP HL dongle drivers installed and original parallel port or USB dongle connected
computer.
Service installation
HASP/Hardlock dumper and emulator designed as low level kernel mode driver and requires Administrators privileges to be installed.
When you start HASPHL2010.exe for a first time you'll see following window.

Press "INSTALL" button and if installation was successful Driver status window will be changed to "Status : driver is installed"
Starting service
Now you need to open "Emulator" tab.
Then you press "Start Service" button. If everything is ok you'll see
Running your software
To find your key it is necessary to start protected software.
Reading your key.
Open "DUMPER" tab.
HASP/HL Dongles window shows logged HASP dongle passwords. In this case, dongle password is 3C39:25A0
3. Create registry file

Now that you already got your dongle password. It's time to generate registry file.
If your dongle is Sentinel SuperPro/UltraPro, please use SSP2MK_1.2 to generate registry file.
If your dongle is HASP or HASP HL then you need to use RTDumperGUI to generate registry file. Please carefully read readme.txt file before doing. For HASP (or HASP H
dongle you must input two parts of your dongle password into two contiguous textboxes. For example, my dongle password is 725F:583A so I must input 725F into the first
and 583A into the second textbox.
In my case, I got registry file RTDumperGUI/hasp_725F583A/725F583A___.reg. You should rename it to 725F583A.reg and then open it and replace
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet...] with
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\MultiKey\Dumps\725F583A]
Now we are ready to eliminate the dongle
4. Install MultiKey USB Dongle Emulator

- Register 725F583A.reg into Registry by right click on it and select Merge
- Click start button , type uac, then press Enter. It will show User Account Control Settings, please decrease UAC level as follows:
- Install MultiKey32 or MultiKey64 (it depends on your OS, for example Windows 7 32 bit, Windows 7 64 bit). If your OS is 64 bit, then open folder MultiKey64 and do as fol
You wait for a while, you will see a popup asking you to install a unsigned driver. You must accept to install it anyway. And then, you wait for finishing driver installation succ
5. Sign driver by [Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider]
You execute dseo13b.exe and do as follows:
Select [Enable Test Mode] and click Next button
Select [Sign a System File] and click Next button
Find [C:\Windows\System32\drivers\multikey.sys] in your OS, it must exist in your OS. If it doesn’t exist, please reinstall MultiKey again.
Input in the textbox [C:\Windows\System32\drivers\multikey.sys], click OK
Select [Exit] and click Next button to exit
Now you have to restart your PC, hold down F8 key on your keyboard, you will see the Advanced Boot Options screen, you select [Disable Driver Signature Enforcement] a
follows:
Press Enter to boot Windows. After Windows is booted it will install the unsigned driver automatically. You should verify the new driver as follows:
Press key combination Windows + R, type devmgmt.msc, press Enter. It should show
Now you can start your protected software and enjoy it. From now you will don't have to remember to bring/plug USB dongle.

I have a question, though. Once everything is installed and working, so I still need to keep the computer in Test mode? I followed your steps and used the Driver Signature Enforcem
Overrider to sign the multikey.sys file, so I assumed that at that point I could disable Test mode. But when I did that, the software asked for the HASP.
I am a little concerned about keeping the computer permanently in Test mode. Can you give me some advice?

You use Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider to turn on the Test mode and sign the driver. But its certificate is unverified by Microsoft. That's the reason why the driver is only loa

Firstly, you have to use RTDumperGUI to generate registry file. In folder RTDumperGUI, there is one file readme.txt you please read it to know how to generate registry file. After
generating registry file, you open it and replace [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet...] with
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\MultiKey\Dumps\XXXXXXXX]. Where XXXXXXXX is your dongle password.

With the dongle inserted I have 3 lines:

Don't worry Valentin Olaru.
I guess your dongle is a type of HASP HL. You need to edit a little bit the registry file. Please open the registry file and change "Type"=dword:000000EA to "Type"=dword:0000004A
After that, you must Merge it into Registry and then restart your PC. Good luck :)

Hello. First of all thank you for this great post. I tried to clone a usb HASP HL dongle, everything went ok but the application that requires the dongle does not work, saying "no secu
key detected". The drivers seem to be installed ok, I have changed the dword for Hasp HL, in device manager I have SafeNet Inc. HASP Key and SafeNet Inc. USB Key
but when the dongle is connected there is a new one called SafeNet Inc. Sentinel HL Key and two SafeNet Inc. USB Key . Any ideas? Thank you!

For HASP HL, maybe I already got the same your problem and I fixed by changing "Type"=dword:000000EA to "Type"=dword:0000004A. In addition to this, I cannot remember
anymore. If it is possible please send me your application and registry file I will try to help you.

I have an Aladin LPT HARDLOCK key. Windows 7 will not see it so I had to create the registry file in window xp and move it to windows 7. It says the key is installed and running in

You can disregard the last comment. I figured it out. The program settings got changed somehow during the install of these files. Once I set up its network settings again it started p
the data and working fine.

As a note to others the reason I did this was because I had to upgrade my computer and windows 7 would not recognize the dongle or load it. You can create your registry key on a
machine and use it on windows 7.

The dongle I am trying to emulate is a Safenet Sentinel HL key.

Hi, do you might have an idea what type the "SafeNet Sentinel Dual Hardware Key" would be?
The SSP2MK did export as "DongleType"=dword:00000003
but that's Sentinel Super Pro 7067 and not "SafeNet Sentinel Dual Hardware Key".

your page was very useful for me because it cleared ambigous instructions in many documents on Internet.
However, for my HASP HL dongleRTDumperGUI didn't worked.
h5dmp.exe from https://www.techidiots.net/notes/emulate-hasp-hl-pro-1/emulate-hasp-hl-pro made much different .reg file compared to RTDumperGUI.
At least, this other worked.

Thank you very much for your explanations. It almost worked for my HASP HL Dongle... but did not :(
At first, I had a yellow exclamation mark in my device list. I replaced the dword EA with 4A as explained and after rebooting, everything seemed OK : with no dongle plugged, those
lines appeared in device manager:
SafeNet Inc. HASP Key
SafeNet Inc. USB Key
Yet, the application did not start saying it could not find the dongle.
When I plug the real USB dongle, there are not two but THREE lines in device mgr:
SafeNet Inc. HASP Key
SafeNet Inc. USB Key
SafetNet Inc. Sentinel HL
So I guess I might need a further step to emulate this additional driver? Correct?
Any idea?

Actually I already managed to eliminate HASP, HASP HL and SuperPro USB dongles but maybe I were lucky. And I did that for my curiousness and for funny!
For your cases, you should dig the Internet to find more information about MultiKey Emulator. I cannot advise you guy anything. I'm so sorry!

Worked prefectley for me on a HASP4.
Remember ... it's important you reboot as the registry change will take effect only then. If you don't want to reboot you can terminate explorer.exe process and start it agai so that th
registry gets read again including the merged file.

Hi i'm trying to install "Multikey32bit" on a win7 32bit system but the steps described above doesn't seem to work for me.
The .reg dump file was provided for me by a friend and the the installation process works on 64 bit systems, even on win 8.1, but the Multikey driver doesn't install for me correctly o
my 32bit win7.
It starts installing and after a second it tells me that the driver couldn't be installed properly, and it appears in the device manager as "SafeNET Inc. USB Key" with an exclamation m
hence it didn't install properly.
The dongle protected software want's me to install "Safenet Sentinel runtime" and i do so every time.
The older version of the software uses "Hasp-HL Aladin 5.22" so i have it already installed on my machine, and it did work with "HaspHL2007 emulator" (its simmilar to the HaspHL2
one) just fine. I even uninstalled the the driver what was installed by HaspHL2007, and stopped it's emulator service so there are no conflicts between the old emulator and the new
Multykey32bit, but it doesn't seem to work anyway.
I even tried to install it in many variations:
1. Installed the software + Hasp-HL Aladin driver 5.22 + the new version software + Sentinel runtime, Multikey32bit didnt install properly, "SafeNet Inc. USB key" with exclamation m
appeared in device manager, the software didn't work-saved (it has a saving restriction without the dongle)
2. Installed the new version software + only the Sentinel runtim, Multikey32bit didnt install properly, "SafeNet Inc. USB key" with exclamation mark appeared in device manager, the
software didn't work-saved (it has a saving restriction without the dongle).

Hi Moshe,
You need to edit a little bit the registry file. Please open the registry file by some text editor (Notepad or Notepad++) and change "Type"=dword:000000EA to "Type"=dword:0000004
After that, you must Merge it into the Windows' Registry and then restart your PC. Good luck :)

I didn't edited it becouse you don't say to do it for SuperPro,or maybe i misunderstood.
Than i do "Merge" and follow the next steps.
I didn't even changed the name of the .reg file.
Once i'm done with all the steps i can find the Sentinel Driver installed but even with that my software runs in DEMO mode.
What should i do?
With the Sentinel Plugged works properly,without it doesn't.

This is a great post.
Thanks for your help in these cases where whichone think are alone.
This is a comment to help someone else who can present the same problem with 2.17 hasp key to be installed on windows 7 64bit.
Go to the following address:

Control Panel \ All Control Panel Items \ Windows Update \ Change Settings
Or locate Windows Update directily

And select the "Change Settings" located on the left side.
In "Important Updates" select the option "install updates automatically (recommended)"
when inserting the key, let windows update drivers hasp look.
I personally have never had success with Windows Update, but this time, fortunately it worked. That's why I share this solution.

SSP2MK_1.2 to understand how to generate registry file for MultiKey emulator. At the present, I don't have any SuperPro dongle so I cannot write the guideline for creating registry
using SSP2MK_1.2.

Old desktop computers have 25 pin parallel port for printers. That can be used.
There are convertors from 25 pin parallel port to usb. Use this and dump it by any computer.
Hasp hl2007.exe can be used for dumping the dongle.

On Windows 8.1 you should do the following steps to install MultiKey:
1. Reduce UAC to lowest level
2. You follow the steps in this tutorial to disable drivers signature enforcement http://www.howtogeek.com/167723/how-to-disable-driver-signature-verification-on-64-bit-windows-8.1
that-you-can-install-unsigned-drivers/
3. Install MultiKey as usual
You also need to use dseo13b.exe to sign multikey.sys driver and remember that MultiKey only works in Test Mode. You must always stay in Test Mode.
For Windows 10, I don't have any experience.

Hey Guys for all who have proplems with ssp2mk here some things to know!
Start ssp2mk:
1. plugin Dongle
2. Click top left to search for the pluged dongle
3. If the Dongle was found right click and click on Dump.
4. one more right click on the dongle now select in options mutlikey older 18.x.x
5. Now you can save the reg file an install it.
6. something to know:
I have many zeroes in my regfile but that is sometimes normal there are no algos.
Maybe i can help someone of you!

i have a .dng of another software and i try with h5dmp to create the reg but h5dmp says *hasp4* error .also with Son Ngueyen's procedure can't create the reg. any idea?
the .dng work perfectly in xp, and a way to run on win7 is with vmware (with unit mode seeting semms like work in win7).
another question is: is it possible share a dng hasp2007 over network like a usb? there are some software like usb over ethernet or usb over network.

I previously have succeeded "undongle" a certain software by using HaspHL2007 and EDGEHASP. And I have noticed that they only worked with 32bit windows versions.
Is there a way to convert it to 64bit? Although I have tried installing multikey on 64bit, HaspHL2007 will work.
Also, is there a way to convert this *.dng file for HaspHL2010x64?

Hello. First of all thank you for this great post. I tried to clone a usb HASP HL dongle, everything went ok but the application that requires the dongle does not work, saying "no secu
key detected". The drivers seem to be installed ok, I have changed the dword for Hasp HL, in device manager I have SafeNet Inc. HASP Key and SafeNet Inc. USB Key
but when the dongle is connected there is a new one called SafeNet Inc. Sentinel HL Key and two SafeNet Inc. USB Key . Any ideas? Thank you!

have upgraded to Win 10. Now under my USB devices there isn´t anymore Safenet USB Super/Pro.
Although installing multikey isn´t working anymore.
Driver problem or what else could it be?

How to install HASP MultiKey USB Dongle Emulator on Windows 7 64 bit

Now, I want to write some steps here:

1. Download necessary tools

2. Get dongle password

Now you need to open "Emulator" tab.

Then you press "Start Service" button. If everything is ok you'll see

Running your software

Reading your key.

Open "DUMPER" tab.

3. Create registry file

Now we are ready to eliminate the dongle

4. Install MultiKey USB Dongle Emulator

5. Sign driver by [Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider]

You execute dseo13b.exe and do as follows:

Select [Enable Test Mode] and click Next button

Select [Sign a System File] and click Next button

Input in the textbox [C:\Windows\System32\drivers\multikey.sys], click OK

Select [Exit] and click Next button to exit
