- Click “CALIBRATION REQUEST”
- Select the TEST to be calibrated and click “OK”
- Click the “START” to start calibration.
Note: It can be done simultaneously in QC running.
VI. QC RUNNING
- Click the icon “QC REQUEST”
- Select the TEST for QC and click “OK”
- Click “START” to start running.
- Click “STATUS” for monitoring.
a. BY NUMBERS
- Click “SAMPLE REQUEST”
- Select the test to be analyzed and click “OK”. If
there’s more than 1 sample, just select the test for
the corresponding patient number and click “OK” and
if all samples are loaded on the sample rack, click
“START”
Note: Numbering is automatically generated.
b. BY DETAILS
- Click “SAMPLE REQUEST”
- Click “DETAILS”, fill out the following;

NOTE: Clear any obstacles that might block the
movement of the probe to avoid PROBE damage
before clicking “START”…!!! Do not forget to
UNSCREW the cap of the reagents…!!!

- Select Westgard RULE.
- Select the type of control you want to view.
- Then click “REFRESH”.
- For “Graphical Data”
- Select the test you want to view for the QC result.
- Select the Date
- Select Westgard RULE.
- Select the type of control you want to view.
- Then click “REFRESH” (green dot=normal control, red
dot=pathological/abnormal control).
- Select “QC SUM” to see the actual concentration of
the control (select date, select control, click refresh
- Click results
- Select patient you want to view

XIII. OTHERS
1. FOR HBA1c;
REAGENTS:
LATEX – R1
Antibody – R2
*Antibody Reagent Preparation: Add entire
content of R2(b) Antibody to bottle of HBA1c Buffer
(R2a). Mix antibody working reagent well before use.
Stable for 30 days when properly stored at 2-8C
CALIBRATORS:
*Reconstitute each calibrator vial using 0.5 mL
of distilled water.

*Store at 2-8C.
*Protect from light and heat.
*The calibrator retains it assigned value for at least 30
days at 2-8C.
Note: There are 4 Calibrators (values are listed on the
vial label).
CONTROLS:
SAMPLE PREPARATION:
1. Dispense 0.5 ml Hemolysis Reagent into tubes.
2. Place 10uL of well mixed whole blood into the
tube. Mix.
3. Allow to stand for 5 minutes or until complete
lysis is evident.

Same procedure in Running Samples, the only
difference is to change the specimen with CSF.

- *Go to Parameters from main menu
- Click “Off-system”
- Click “Results” from the main menu
- Select patient
- Click “Add”
- Select “Test”, scroll down
- Type result
- Click “OK”, then Click “Close” (Repeat from asterisk
above until you complete the test result, depends on
how many tests), then click “PRINT”
CALIBRATORS:
- Click “CALIBRATION” from the main menu
- Click”CALIBRATOR”
- Select CAL (left box)
- Change Expiration Date
- Enter Lot Number
- Select analyte you want to change CAL. Value (right box)

b. Sample or Reagent is EXHAUSTED
- Click “STOP PROBE”
- Click “STATUS”
- Click “SAMPLE DISK” or “REAGENT DISK” where
exhausted error appear
- Check the sample that is empty (exhausted sample or
reagent appear with a white circle at the center)
- Immediately ADD SAMPLE or REAGENT
- After addition, Click “REFRESH” or if more than one
click “REFRESH ALL”
- Then click “START”

11. HOW TO EDIT OR ADD NORMAL VALUES
- Click “PARAMETERS” from the main menu
- Click TEST
- Select analyte you want to EDIT or ADD normal values
- Click “REFERENCE”
- To EDIT; click existing, type the values on the lower
right part, just below the LOW and HIGH, click “OK”.
- To ADD; click “ADD”, select GENDER (if general,select
blank), select Sample Type, Age (from 0-100), LOW
(lowest range), HIGH (highest range), click “OK”.

- Plug in, then click the power button at the back of the
machine
- Select “MEASURE” from the menu
- Click Pg D/U to select test
Note: Be sure that you already prepare the standard,
control and sample before clicking the test, you need
3 test tubes for each. See Quick Guide Preparation of
the reagents provided).
- Selcet analyte to run (start from number 28-50)
- Click Zero for blanking (use distilled water)
Feed the distilled water, press the button
- Click standard, feed the standard, press button
- Press control if you are running control if not go
directly to sample, feed the sample, press button
