2. Expand DHCP Server Name

3. IPv4 (Right-Click)  New Scope

4. Scope Name

5. IP Range (Start IP, End IP , Length, Subnet Mask)

6. Add Exclusion and Delay (Start IP, End IP)

7. Lease Duration

8. Router Default Gateway (IP Address)

9. Domain Name and DNS Server (Server Name, IP Address)

10. WINS Server (Server Name, IP Address)


11. Active Scope (Yes, No)

12. OK

Create Authorize
Tools  DHCP  right-click Domain Address  Authorize

LAB: Creating Superscope

1. Server Manager  Tools  DHCP

2. IPv4  New Superscope

3. Superscope Wizard

4. Name [Superscope Name]

5. Select Scope [Select Created Scope]

6. Finish

LAB: Create Client Reservation


1. Server Manger  Tools  DHCP
2. Right-click (Reservation) and select New Reservation

Reservation Name: [Name]


IP Address: [reservation IP for client]
MAC Address: [reservation client MAC]
Supported Types: Both | DHCP | BOOTP

3. Filter (tab)  Enable Allow List | Enable Deny List
4. Deny/Allow Filter (right-click) New Filter  Add

2. Server name (Domain)  right Click  Properties
Database path: By default, the database is stored at %systemroot%\system32\dhcp

DHCP Relay Agent [Right-Click]  New Interface  Interface LAN [select] OK
DHCP Relay Agent [Right-Click]  DHCP Server IP [Add]
