2. New version of „Automatic Webupdate“ available

Please forward this information directly to
all members of your service department.

Software version 01-07-06 is used in production line since Dec. 10th.2004.

In the following the differences to version 01-07-05 are described.

1 Modifications in user programs:

• The Program „Finishing Container CT probe“ would abort in case the core probe is
too hot based on the first preheating Step.
This program abort is eliminated since Version 01-07-06

• In case floor units are loaded only with very small quantities (i.e. size 202 with 1 duck
only to be cooked with core probe) an interrupt of the cooking process based on
missing core probe values is made impossible.

Common functions

• 15 minutes after finishing it’s CleanJet cycle the interior cabinet light will
automatically be switched off.
(This function was unfortunately not yet active with software version 01-07-05.)

• Should a power failure up to 10 minutes occur the unit will continue coking at the
point where the program was stopped.
(This function – implemented with version 01-06-07 - was unfortunately not active
until software version 01-07-05 when in the at any time a CleanJet program was
started.)

Service

• Rectification of faulty SC-Automatic.

(This function was unfortunately not active with software version 01-07-05.)

2 New version of „Automatic Webupdate“ available

In the Internet you will find under:

„Technical Documentation/SCC Software
update SCC.Line/SCC a file:
Webupdate.zip containing a new version
of update.exe as well as webupdate.jpg.

Using this new „update.exe“ tool will

eliminate software update problems which
you might have encountered in the past.

Please delete all existing files on your

USB007 stick and copy the 2 new files:

update.exe with date stamp 06.12.04 and

webupdate.jpg with date stamp 19.04.04
onto your USB stick.

After having connected to the internet run

the file: update.exe in order to download
the newest software version.

Note:

This software 01-07-06 can be downloaded with your USB Stick via “automatic
webupdate” or directly from our Rational Service web site since December 10th, 2004.

Note:
In order to offer the most benefits to our customers we strongly recommend to
update the unit software to the newest software version whenever you are
visiting our customers and / or installing a new unit from your stock.

Because of the restricted „SC-Automatic“ function this software update is

specially recommended when installing a unit with software version 01-07-05.

This applies to SelfCooking Center units produced in November and December

2004 with Serial number ending:

Ca. 04112018500 to Ca. 04122020500
