Waste is leftover material that is not expected after the end of a process.
Garbage is determined by humans based on their degree of use, in natural
processes there is actually no concept of waste, there are only products that are
produced after and during ongoing natural processes. However, because in
human life is defined the concept of environment, waste can be divided
according to its types.
Inorganic rubbish, which is waste that is not easily decomposed, such as
plastic food packaging containers, paper, plastic toys, beverage bottles and
glasses, cans, wood, and so on. This garbage can be used as commercial waste
or sold garbage to be used as other products. Some inorganic wastes that can be

DISCUSSION

1. About Putra Selang Jaya

Putra Selang Jaya is located in Bebusi Street, RT 003 RW 001, Wanasari,
Cibitung, Wanasari, Cibitung, Bekasi, West Java 17520. Putra Selang Jaya is
a business in recycling inorganic waste. every day the garbage that comes to
"Putra Selang Jaya" amounts to more than 5 tons per day originating not only
from the city, Bekasi but also from outside the region.
Putra Selang Jaya is owned by H. Didi Abdullah. According to H. Didi
Abdullah, the recycling business of inorganic waste is a very promising
business because we know that humans always provide goods with plastic or
other packaging.
It is known that Indonesia has a program without plastic, but until now the
program has not run. It is known that plastic is needed so that the plastic can
be recycled several times, as well as bottles.
2. Benefits of Inorganic Rubbish
 As a basic craft material
Nowadays, creative hands from Indonesian citizens and also the world
can begin to see the hidden benefits of waste or inorganic waste. The
benefits of inorganic waste can be used for making handicrafts or what
we often know by the name of handicrafts. Some types of handicrafts
that come from anorgan waste materials themselves also have high
economic value, and can actually develop into a big business.
 For the manufacture of recycled materials
Inorganic waste is also often used as recycled material. Usually the
material made into recycled material is plastic waste, which can then be
collected for recycling. This recycling of waste and plastic waste can
reduce the accumulation of waste and inorganic waste. Of course it will
have a positive influence on the environment.
 Reusable
"Reusable" is a term in which a waste or an inorganic item does not
need to be disposed of. That means the item, eventually it will not
become waste, but it is useful to be reused without having to be thrown
away. The example is cardboard used electronic goods. If thrown away,
of course the box will become one of the inorganic wastes that can
disrupt the environment.
But the benefits of inorganic waste such as cardboard, it turns out can
be used for other purposes. In the end the box will not become garbage
or waste, but can be useful for other purposes.
 As a children's toy
Well, for those of you who have small children, you can create
children's games using inorganic abundance. You can make a windmill
from a drink cup or can make cars from plastic bottles. Of course,
besides being able to prevent accumulation of inorganic waste in your
environment, this is very good to help you save money in buying
children's toys that may have very high prices.
 As decoration and can hone creativity
Some inorganic wastes that are processed with high creativity can be a
decoration and can also increase creativity from yourself. Creativity is
a process that is carried out to create new and fresh products, with the
presence of inorganic waste. You will be able to increase your creativity
and also be able to create a new object, which of course comes from
inorganic waste.
 Make money
The benefits of inorganic waste can also make money. In addition to
how to make handicrafts that you can sell so you can make money, you
can also sell bottles and used goods that become inorganic waste. This
waste is like old newspapers, used batteries and others to collectors of
used goods.
This of course will be exchanged for compensation in the form of cash,
which although the amount is not much, but still this can be profitable.
Because besides being able to clean your environment from inorganic
waste, you also get results in the form of money.
 Melted to be made into another item
Some inorganic waste, such as metals and plastic, is one waste that has
high economic value. As is known, the metal can be melted back
together with other metals. This melted metal will then become liquid
metal, which can be formed into a new form. For example, a collection
of scrap metal from collectors can be brought to a metal smelter. After
being melted and added by several other chemicals, the benefits of the
iron that has been melted can become a new iron that can be used again.

3. Benefits For The Government

Bekasi has a landfill in Bantar Gebang Every Day Bantar Gebang receives
garbage sent from the west Java region and the Jakarta area. The amount
received every day is more than 2000 tons.
With the presence of "Putra Selang Jaya" the garbage that comes to Bantar
Gebang can be reduced because inorganic waste has been received by "Putra
Selang Jaya" through scavengers and collectors of inorganic waste. In addition,
the Jaya Hose Son employs the surrounding community, thereby reducing
unemployment and Putra Selang Jaya paying taxes on income earned so that
the tax can build the area.
CHAPTER III
CONCLUSION AND SUGGEST
A. Conclusion
Plastic waste has advantages and disadvantages. The disadvantage is the low
level of public awareness of plastic waste that can cause impacts on the
surrounding environment such as soil pollution, water pollution and so on, and
the benefits of plastic waste can be recycled and will produce a product that
has a selling price value.
With the presence of Putra Selang Jaya, the recycling business owned by H.
Didi Abdullah, besides reducing the volume of plastic waste, which is
increasingly increasing, it can also help improve the economy and welfare of
the surrounding communities and also produce products that can be beneficial.
B. Suggest
The community must have the awareness not to dispose of litter especially
plastic waste because it is difficult to decompose by soil. And also in order to
avoid excessive accumulation of plastic waste, we should reduce the use of
plastic and move the community by using more environmentally friendly
waste.
